If you are a fan of SpongeBob, you know very well who Gary is. The plush doll I ordered was requested by my son who loves the show. The beanie baby-type plush Gary is kind of small but so is the real Gary. The Gary doll is soft and cuddly. Defintiely pick it up if you love the show.

This is very well constructed and, unlike a lot of plush/beanie/stuffed figures, it actually looks very much like the cartoon character it's meant to represent. *meow*

Gary is a colorful, quiet snail. His eye-stalks are stitched together, which keeps them from bending in a weird way, getting caught in other toys, and from getting damaged easily because together the stalks are more durable. Again, the colors are vibrant. The toy is not too big; it fits in a man's outstretched palm. Good quality. Packaged well in a tight plastic bag, so it did not arrive with lint or fuzzies or cardboard scraps or other nasty things stuffed animals in transit pick up. Stands up on his own like good little snail, so he is easy to pop onto a shelf. Meoww.

I have a three year old daughter who loves Gary. She is autistic and often forms "abnormal" attachments to certain objects. When McDonald's had Spongebob toys, she got a tiny, very easy to lose Gary that we would all have to search the world over for. I once even paid someone five dollars for theirs. Lol. Eventually, they were lost for good.
This Christmas I happened to find this online. Unknown to me, so did my mother and father. My father also bought a back up. She LOVES this toy. And, thank goodness we have our back ups. It was a lifesaver and definitely worth the money. (:
It's a beanie baby, so it can tear, but doesn't tear easily. Another plus.

I'll be the first to admit that I am an adult Spongebob fan... call me a dork if you must! One of my favorite characters is Gary the snail, so I thought that this is a must-have for a decoration in my room. I love it - it is soft and durable. I would definitely recommend this to any Spongebob fan!

We all know Gary the snail SpongeBob's pet that meows like a cat. Well I bought it and Gary came in good shape. The heart shaped tag that is on all Ty beanies. But the only thing I didn't like about it that Gary has is eyes out and you can't keep them straight together. But it is still very cool. But I gust the eyes out can be a little creepy.
