I was looking for an alternative to all of the unhealthy mints on the market with so many dangerous chemicals in them(ie,aspartame & acesulfame K...). I found these at my local organic food store & was hooked! I love the Wintermint & Chai flavors the best.This is a quality company to deal with! When I had a slight problem with a few mislabled tins, I emailed them & received an immediate response from the President of the company! 2 days later I received replacement packages -free of charge! Great tasting mints and Great Customer Service!

I've been searching for years to find a vegan wintergreen mint and finally discovered these. Ordered the variety six-pack from the manufacturer and just tried the wintergreen today. Very delicious. Most consumers don't seem to care about artificial sweeteners or animal ingredients (Calcium Stearate, a mold releasing product, or gelatin). May order from Amazon next time I get free SuperSaver shipping.

I buy these because I discovered Altoids are not vegan. I like having Altoids tins for doing homemade electronics projects. I liked Altoids before I became vegan, and this review is based around "looking for a vegan friendly Altoids replacement". Keeping that in mind...

THE TIN

The tin is the closest I've found to an Altoids tin. It is a bit smaller though. The tin is about the same width, but 1.5mm shorter in length, and has about .2mm less depth to it.

THE MINTS

I would like this product more if it was a bit more minty - or had a strong mint taste. It's tasty as it stands, it's just not super minty - more just like a sugar or maple taste. Without the Altoid-like mint, it doesn't totally obliterate coffee breath as well as Altoids do, but it does tone it down quite a bit.

All in all, I like them and I'll probably buy them again (until I can find a closer vegan Altoids equivalent)

These mints taste great; the wintergreen flavor is fairly mild, so they are almost candy-like. I don't know that they'll necessarily freshen your breath (as the peppermint option will), but there's just enough mint to keep you happy. The metal container is a perfect size for your pockets, and is easy enough to open one-handed if necessary.

The only negative is that you'll occasionally get a piece of mint leaf in your mouth. I guess that's what happens when mints are made with, well, mint.

$3+ per container is pretty steep for mints, but if you're looking for something without artificial sweeteners or colors, these are a great option.

Though I prefer the VerMint peppermints, these are milder and made of healthy ingredients. I keep them in my purse and spread them around to persons who have especially helped me when shopping or on other occasions. They all are surprised to see that they do not contain aspartame or any other artificial/chemical ingredient.

I love how these mints are organic and have no artificial sweeteners.
Sadly, the flavor, while pleasant, is very very mild. I also find that I have to take several of these mints together to noticeably freshen my breath.

I would recommend these to individuals looking for mints as a pleasant mild treat. However, if you are simply looking for mints to freshen your breath, I would suggest finding something stronger.

I was looking for a mint without artificial sweeteners and came across this one. the mint is not as strong as I like. it does not really refresh your breath. Somehow the artificial mint stuff is stronger - i dont know why. however, this is quite healthy if you want to chew on something sweet and with weak mint flavor.
