I like it, good value for 3-pack. But it's not what you think it is (doesn't really "disinfect")

This 3-pack is a good value, and we use them for the "germ centers" in our house (litter box, bathroom, kitchen sink, door knobs, etc).

These are particularly good for cleaning things that often get forgotten (like the tank & flush handle on the toilet, the outside of the litter box, etc).

However, read the small print! This product doesn't ~really~ disinfect like you think it does. It was a real disappointment to discover this.

According to the packaging (and the Lysol web site), you have to soak the surface &/or scrub for 10 minutes (YES... TEN MINUTES) or else it's not really "disinfected" against all those things listed (flu virus, bacteria, etc). Alternatively, if you scrub &/or let moisture sit for a minimum of 30 seconds, it's "sanitized" (not disinfected). I suppose this depends a bit on weather and humidity - how quickly the damp chemicals sit before evaporating.

So for many of us, if you just wipe off the surface (like 99.99% of us probably do), then Lysol says all you're doing is cleaning off dust & surface dirt. This is troubling - in other words, it's no more effective than using a Bounty + soap & water.

This is why I only use the Lysol wipes for the germ centers of the house - there's no reason to spread chemicals all over the house if it's not providing a benefit.

For daily cleaning of most household surfaces, we use a spray bottle of 7th Generation (or sometimes, just 50/50 white vinegar & water), and a cloth or paper towel.

One other heads-up - the bottle leaks & the wipes dry out if stored (or shipped) on their side.

Nice wipes, and I had a surprise in the box!

The wipes are nice but I prefer Clorox. Clorox seemed to have more solution in the container. I did like the Lysol on glass and not sure if you can use Clorox on glass or mirrors. I also had quite a shock when I opened the inner Lysol box! To my surprise a scorpion! It looked like he possibly recently died, the tail uncurled when I moved him. I complained to customer service (this really scared me) and refunded the purchase price with a free month of Prime. Amazon acted like it was no big deal.

To get best result, I use those wipes after sweeping first

I use those wipes to sanitize floor too along with swiffer sweeper. It does replace swiffer refills. To get best result , I use those wipes after sweeping first.

Work great

My normal disinfecting wipe is the Clorox wipes. I saw these on sale here at Amazon though for such a great price that I had to try them.

I actually really like them just as much as the Clorox wipes. This is saying alot because I have been using the Clorox wipes religiously and have recommended them to anyone who would listen, ever since they came out.

They work well for light cleaning virtually any surface except for mirrors of course. I do not notice any streaking, even on black appliances. They pick up hairs and small crumbs too. I like using them at the end of the day to wipe everything down before bed. They are so very convenient. I keep a canister in every room of my house, and extras in all the closets.

The kids even keep them in their rooms and wipe down their dressers and random belongings and surfaces. They are more prone to cleaning up their messes in the kitchen and bathroom too, since they can just grab a wipe out of the canister, wipe away the mess and then throw it away. A lot easier and quicker than grabbing a cleaning product and sponge or rag and then having to rinse the sponge or rag and then put everything away.

I would say you could do most all of your cleaning with these, minus windows and glass. It might not be the most cost effective to use them in this manner unless you catch a really good sale, but it is definitely an option. I personally reach for them more often than the typical cleaning products. Quick, easy and they disinfect too, so you don't have to worry about germs.

The scent is fresh and clean, citrus. Not over powering and they definitely smell better than regular various scented Lysol cleaners.

Definitely recommended as a must have item to keep on hand at all times. I keep them in the car too and use them on all surfaces, including my leather seats.

Simplification

If you have a busy life, if you're a senior, if you're a pet owner, Lysol Disinfecting Wipes make life a lot easier. Since I am all of the above, I just love these things. I like everything to be super clean, and as one gets older, super clean gets harder to achieve without help from things like wipes. Also for pet clean-ups! When those little paws take a sprint over your kitchen counter, for instance. Another great use for Lysol Disinfectant Wipes is when you change litter; wipe the empty pan down with wipes, and then rinse and dry. A very nasty chore done quickly and efficiently.

Yes, the directions for "Sanitizing," and "Disinfecting," are a little more complicated, as well as for preventing mildew. Nevertheless, to clean and remove allergens, all you need is a quick clean. The Lemon & Lime Blossom scent is pleasant, and even with 80 wipes in the tub, they remain moist down to the last cloth. These are tough little cloths too, you can pull and stretch them, and they won't change shape. And good for difficult areas to clean...you can wind up a corner and slide it through anything. Thank you Lysol! Nice, sturdy wipes, for elderly, busy cat ladies.
