Gate is pretty flimsy and bent after a few uses, but I was able to bang it back into position. Granted, I'm using it to attach a Brush Grubber HD to a chain and pull brush and trees out of the ground with a tractor, so It's getting abused. Replaced the cotter pin with a hitch pin so it's easier to remove. Hook itself seems to be good quality and the price is right.

I bought this to replace the smaller hook on my ATV winch. The hook's internal diameter that came with the winch was not large enough to attach to points I needed it to. Upon receiving this hook I realized that though the opening is large enough, the safety latch is so long it essentially made that additional diameter useless. A few minutes with a hack-saw solved this problem and still keeps the hook safe.

I haven't gotten to use it yet but it seems to be a very sturdy how that should be just the right size for the winch on my jeep. Only complaint is that the latch was slightly bent. Other than that it's great.
