More Than a Doll
This Barbie isn't your average doll, she is a hip electronic toy with life-like motions. When her cell phone rings, your child can raise the phone to Barbie's ear and listen as she answers. And to hear Chat Divas Barbie sing, just lift the microphone to her lips. Her mouth realistically moves as she sings and talks. Girls can also plug in an external music device, such as an MP3 or CD player, and watch as Barbie bops her head and sings to the music.

Chat Divas Barbie comes with three pre-programmed song clips and a miniature microphone. She is 11-1/2 inches tall and tucks neatly away into a toy box. Plus, she can be removed from the stage, played with and dressed like a normal doll. When you lift the cell phone to her mouth, she says phrases like, "Yep, totally, its Barbie" and "Later, girl!" She also sings three pre-recorded songs. Her lips move as if she is really talking or singing, and her head bops from side to side when she is attached to the stereo-stage.

This doll has a number of amazing features for hours of playtime and amusement. Once your child tires of the pre-recorded tracks and phrases, Chat Divas Barbie can lip synch to any song on an MP3 or CD player. My granddaughter kept saying she wanted microphone Barbie, something she had seen. She is young so we weren't sure what it was she had seen. If this isn't it, it's the closest thing to it and it's pretty neat. I said do you really like it and she said yes grandma. I hit the button and of all things the "love it" words came out. Thought we would all die laughing. She's having a great time with it. She may be a little young for all of the features, but she can be taught it as she goes along. I also got this at a great price compared to what I had seen, so I was definitely happy with that. Thanks.

I bought this doll for my Grandchild's 6th birthday. I made arrangements to make sure she had her Ipod with her when she opened her gift. The doll said only 2 phrases, over and over again. When we hooked it up to the Ipod it would start to play a song and then quit. I changed the batteries, but it didn't make a difference. IT JUST DOESN'T WORK. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! A VERY DISAPPOINTED BIRTHDAY GIRL.

My daughter wanted a talking Barbie and this was the only thing I could find. She only says two phrases, or rather says one phrase ("Love it!") and sings/raps the other. You can plug in your iPod, but she doesn't sing along. She only repeats her two phrases. That being said, my daughter does play with her, in the same way she plays with any Barbie. Could have saved myself some money and bought a regular Barbie.
