I switched out wall plates, switches and outlets from white to Leviton Decora gray colored. This wall plate is the same material and shade of gray as my other single Leviton Decora wall plates. Good quality and will not break or crack if mounted tight.

Note: Leviton makes a cheaper hard plastic model, but it is best if used on near perfect walls where the gang box is mounted well and the surrounding drywall (or other material) is very straight. If this is the case the hard plastic will not crack if mounted fairly tight, will last just as long and it looks the same as the model PJ263.

I could not find model PJ263 three gang GRAY wall plate at the local big box store. I searched for the three gang plate online and could barely find it. I settled for Amazon.

Glossy finish may not match those you already have

I had difficulty finding two gang decora wall plates in grey at the local big box stores so amazon came to my rescue. the plate I received functioned as expected but I was unpleasantly surprised to find that the models from amazon have a very glossy finish while the big box stores have a flat or matt finish. not a great match to the singles I purchased locally so if you don't want glossy, this is not the item for you. this may be nitpicking but I went back to read amazon's description and can't find any indication that theirs are glossy

Typical modern sloppy construction? Buy this flexible wallplate and it won't crack.

I hate the stupid 4 gang wall plates that standard builders use. No way they can rough in the box and finish the drywall properly so that the standard plates won't crack when they are cranked down - it might take a couple of years, but it will happen. Just think if your car was made as sloppily as your house, with similar tolerances. Anyway, I digress.

Get one of these flexible ones. Even if it's not a larger size (this one is slightly larger to cover up even bigger goofs), the flexible ones won't crack the second you tighten the screw to a reasonable torque, which means your blood pressure won't skyrocket, and you won't have a stroke. At least not for a wallplate.

Save our, ahem, butts

Maybe almond is out - way out - but I was amazed that these were not available at the box stores. It was tough to find 3-gang, let alone 4. We remodeled a house and it was either find this 1 wall plate, hunt online for a variable old-style switch instead of the new square fan switch we found or convert the entire house to white. Doh. This saved our butts and was exactly as expected and packaged perfectly.

Couldn't find anywhere else

I needed a 3 gang wallplate & I couldn't fine it in gray in any of the home retail outlets. This item matched all the other gray leviton perfectly. What I like most, though, is that these suckers don't crack. No matter how much you have to bend them to fit your uneven walls, they hold up.

A Very Vibrant Shade Of Red

Ordering here on Amazon is twice the price (after S/H) of the orange box store!! The plate is excellent though. VERY flexible and works great on those boxes with an uneven wall. It fits well and does what it should! If you have a big box nearby, get it there.
