Race & Chase - Radiator Springs Track with Mater & Lightning features a 3.5 foot circular length of race track at the center of which is a cardboard stand-up complete with the Radiator Springs and Tow Mater signs as well as an illustration of Sheriff. The set includes pull-back versions of both Lightning McQueen and Mater. Lightning McQueen is initially introduced as an arrogant and boisterous Rookie of the Year, locked in a vainglorious pursuit of win trophies and ultimately the highly coveted Dinoco endorsement deal. Eventually, however, Lightning finds himself in Radiator Springs, where he is obliged to rebuild the main road that he himself destroyed. Mater is a self-touted maestro of backwards driving and a consummate practitioner of cerebral hobbies such as tractor-tipping and ghostlight-searching. A resident of Radiator Springs, Mater runs Tow Mater Towing & Salvage. Mater of is one of the endearing town residents with whom the self-absorbed Lightning McQueen inadvertently forms a character-enriching friendship.

This is such a fun toy! Lightning McQueen has a "two speed engine" and it quite surprised me how fast he could go! My 20-month-old soon learned how to play this and he enjoys it a lot. I love to play this, too. I got it on sale and it's worth every penny of the $6 I paid.

This toy is a nice starter race car set for younger children ages 3 to 5.
It is very durable and can be used on all most any surface.

I got this toy very cheap and my boys play with the little cars all the time, but seldom use the track. It was a good value and my kids enjoy it. I would recommend this product.
