The light overall is nice.

The way they show the glass in the picture is actually different than reality. The glass is really clear and the rest of the light is a lot more visible through the glass than what it looks like. Still really happy with the light but could have been a more accurate representation.

This is a very good looking exterior light fixture that has VERY POOR CORROSION RESISTANCE. I purchased six of these fixtures over the past two years and they are all showing heavy surface rust on the top surface of lantern. I contacted Westinghouse Customer Service (by email and telephone) and was told that this product HAS NO CORROSION WARRANTY. I was told to clean the fixture with soap and water, to wipe off accumulated snow in winter and to CLEARCOAT THE FIXTURE FOR CORROSION RESISTANCE. All ridiculous suggestions that even the cheapest (which this $78.00 light is not) exterior lighting fixtures do not require. Since when is an exterior light fixture a maintenance item?

We added these outside exterior lanterns to the front of our house, and wow what a beautiful fixture they are when they are lit.
We ended up buying another to match the two in front. Love these lights.

We found light shined thru the glass too much, so we sprayed frosted paint on it. Looks great now and keeps our welcoming porch guests from squinting when knocking at the front door.

I purchased these after an extensive hunt at the local stores and online. I was looking for something unique, but not too modern, and within the (crazy low!!) budget I was given. For both quality and style points, these fixtures were far and away the best I found! They're open at the bottom, so bulb changing is very simple, and they take normal bulbs, not the odd-expensive-and-hard-to-find ones that some fixtures stick you with. This fixture takes the available LED bulb models, which is a bonus for my aforementioned tight budget. Downside is that these do not have an electronic eye for auto-on/off or motion detector. Not a big deal, really, but if those features are important to you, make note. Love the arts and crafts look, water glass and sturdy weight.

I first saw these lights on Amazon, but ended up ordering them elsewhere cheaper. Now I really wish I would have ordered them on Amazon so that I could easily return them. These lights look as expected from a distance, but up close these are terribly shoddy worksmanship, not at all what I expected from Westinghouse.

First, the "patina" color of these lights is just thin brown paint over brass. Right out of the box, this paint was already chipped and falling off in several places on all three lights I ordered. When I rubbed my my finger along the paint, it just fell right off in several places, revealing the shiny brass underneath.

Second, the paint was obviously painted on after the light was assembled, and they did a terrible job painting it. There was paint overlapped/dripped/wiped along almost all of the panes of glass. These are obviously hand painted, so each light was different - one was good, two were bad. This also is probably the cause for the color variations other reviewers have reported - thicker paint on some and thinner paint on others.

Third, these are assembled crooked. They are welded in place, so it's not just a simple screw adjustment. We had to physically wrench these in to place, actually bending the top post, in order for them to look even close to straight and level. Then the bulb base inside the light was crooked, so the bulb was off center. Again, had to really twist and pry to get everything straightened out.

Against my better judgement, we installed all three lights on the front of our house anyway, mostly just because we already took our old lights down and didn't have another replacement available at the time. Now they look nice from the street, but every time I'm near them I feel a bit of disgust and anger over how shoddy they look. I'm guessing it won't be long before I'm looking to replace them...and I'm sure my husband will just LOVE that!
