These are wonderful glasses made in italy for limoncello. I confess we use them for other things like brandy and tequilla. They are wonderful in color and design. They are roughly 4 inches high and 2 inches in diameter. If you want to make your own limoncello I found a wonderful unique recipe for it called Lavender Limoncello, serves 30.

Ingredients
12 lemons, or a mixture of lemons and limes, peels only
3 springs lavender
2 liters light rum or vodka
6 cups sugar
3 cups water

Directions
1. Lemon (or mix of Lemon and Lime) peels only, Lavendar and rum or vodka in a container for 4 weeks.
2. Strain mixture into a decantor or other container
3. Mix sugar and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Let cool, then add to mixture.
4. Chill then server in your limoncino glasses!
5. Store in the freezer for up to 1 year

The fact they come from Italy makes it even better, a friend of mine couldn't believe that I purchased them thru Amazon. The glass is a very fine one. I would recommend this very much. Gave a set as a gift to a friend of mine. I love them just as my friends do.

We just got back from Italy a week and a half ago and experienced "Limoncello" for the first time in Napoli, Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii and Roma. Fell in love with it and wanted to duplicate the experience here.

Still haven't found a "Limoncello"..."Ventura Limoncello Company" comes close...at home that duplicates what we had in Italy, but we have found the perfect glasses to serve it in.

They are "shot size" which is just the right size for 30% plus alcohol content and they seem study enough to survive the freezer time after time. They also look classy to boot!

For under $ 15.00, I highly recommend! Ciao.

I can see why these got so many high reviews. They really are cute and perfect for shots of anything you prefer. For me, that's Dom's B&B (I LOVE that stuff - too much maybe). These glasses kind of remind me of a Libby style goblet glass but on a much smaller scale and not nearly as heavy or thick.

The green appeared darker on my monitor than in person. It's somewhat lighter and is a more green yellow color, still very pretty. Unfortunately, two of mine remind of the leaning tower of Pisa with the top half of the glass sitting slightly askew to the left or the right of the base, something I didn't readily notice in time to return for a replacement set. Nevertheless, I would buy them again as they are perfect for shots or any after dinner aperitif, fit nicely in small hands and even the slightly crooked ones adds to their overall character.

These really are cute little functional eyecatchers.

Nicely designed, thick glasses. I will use them alongside my margarita set for extra shot servings. The stem is a much lighter green than shown in the picture. Please note that these are not finely made glasses, but they appear to be very durable. Both the stem and base have seams that can definitely be felt - more so on some glasses than others. For the price, I think it's a good value and a nice addition to my collection. Overall, I really like these glasses. Hope this helps. Thank you.
