Well, I really wanted to give this toy an all star review as it just makes sooo much sense. Kids LOVE bean bags and kids this age learn so much from play - it was a good pairing of fun and education. However, when I received the toy, I noticed the bean bags were a bit flat. I guess I would have liked if there was a bit more filling.

On a good note, my 5 year old and I throw them back and forth to each other and say the name when we catch it. My 2 year old loves playing hide and seek games with them around her room, and we work on colors. So those of you with more than one kid, its really nice to know that it works for a few age groups. And if you think my games were lame, lol, then they were kind enough to add a list of games for the less imaginative ;-)

As for durability, it was a well made bean bag, it seems to have a lining of some sort that would stop the beans from seeping out, also they get tossed pretty hard! And they really seem to be holding up well!

And I love the little drawstring bag it comes in, nice to have a place to keep it! Great bonus.

Oh well, I guess there is no such thing as a perfect toy! I just would've given it 5 stars if the bag was filled a bit more.

The Shapes Bean Bags include 8 bean bags in different shapes/colors. I l-o-v-e this because not only can we work on shapes, but we can also review colors, as well. Love that these are also washable and durable.

My daughter loves this toy. We do all kinds of games with it and use it all the time. We've had it about a week now and the oval's stitching started coming undone. Luckily the beans are in a bag so they didnt get everywhere but it was still disappointing. I probably will just stitch it up as opposed to sending it back.

I am so happy I bought these. They are an excellent learning tool for toddlers to discover shapes, as well as colors. So many different uses. My son plays with these at home, and I have bought them to work with me in a preschool class. I washed them in the washing machine and dried them and they still look like new.

My 2-1/2 year old grandson absolutely loves these shapes. He can now not only tell you the color, but each shape. We have made games be it throwing all in a pile and asking for a specific shape or color, or putting his hand in the bag and blindly finding a specific shape. These helped teach my daughter her shapes and colors. She just turned two and has them down cold! We also use these to,play games like bean bag toss, or we hide the shapes and she has to find them etc. these are a go to travel toy for us because they are small, light weight and have various modes of play. My daughter enjoys the mystery of reaching into the bag and feeling what's in there and pulling out a shape and excitedly sharing what it is. We take turns as a family doing this and she gets great delight in it being different peoples turn. We have tossed them, stacked them, counted them etc.
