We had a very difficult time fixing some sailboat hardware in Panama. I ordered these machine screws largely for the length and had a buddy on his way down fly them down (yes sometimes even the little stuff works out that way). They have not rusted and have held up well in a harsh marine environment.

I purchased these screws for a project where corrosion could potentially be a problem. I prefer to use 316 stainless when I can get it...although it is not always readily available in the sizes I need, when I need it.

I received full measure (actually I received 26 screws in a package stated as having 25..). The finish was fine...not "excellent", but plenty good enough. All of the screws appeared to be cut perfectly and all mated up with threaded fasteners just like they should. In general, I found no issues with these screws even though they are substantially less expensive than those available locally at the hardware store.

Four stars for a nice serviceable product. If the finish on the head of the screw was a little better (smoother..) it would look a little better when visible and would then rate five stars instead of four.
