Good quality screw. The phillips head does not cam out. I used them on some shelving brackets and used this time to see how this machine screw holds up. I got the machine screw & nut tightened down using an electric drill & not once did it jump out; it brought the drill to a stop & I couldn't do any more to it by hand. A+ Machine screw. I got the nuts to match at the same time & place of purchase. Quality stuff. Will purchase more.

No problems with stripping threads or heads. Have used these with machined and hand-tapped installations. Heartily recommend these. They ship in a handy small box which is great for single rack or two rack sized installations. Wish they had a larger package for larger installations.

I bought 100, # 4-40, machine screws and nuts (separate order). The screws are of average quality. A number 1 Philips head screw driver should be used to tighten the screw. In my opinion, I felt that the screw driver was a loose fit in the screw head slot but this should not be a concern if you're careful. The threads match standard threads which I ascertained by trying a number of different 4-40 nuts.
Overall, this is a good product at a fair price.

Seem to be good quality, #3 Phillips screwdriver to install them. I used them to hold a panel on a Cushman, so strength is not an issue. Well formed and functional, will have to wait and see how the plating holds up to the weather.

I needed 4-40, 3/8" screws and couldn't source any locally so I jumped on these with free Prime shipping. They are as expected but, the head is a bit awkward--are they Robertson square drive or are they Philips. The head on mine were clearly a Philips P1 or P0 but, they still don't have a nicely formed '+' in them, they look like a small multi-drive screw head that accepts either square or philips.

The screws work well, don't strip out easily (I've had some cheap screws that won't snug up. the threads just deform when pressure/tension is put on them) and, the head keeps it's shape and doesn't cam out with a bit of torque.

I only needed 2 screws and, with this odd size, I have no idea what to do with the rest of them but they saved me from buying the OEM screws for my equipment at twice the price.

Pan head, Zinc plated, Course thread screws. Made in Taiwan and I couldn't track down the OEM (Manufacturer) but, they seem just fine. I already had plenty of screws loose so the extras of these aren't anything too concerning. These come in a cute little box that fits well in a Plano storage container with the double long compartment at the front. (Model 2-3750, 4-27)

Nice quality machine screw. Steel with a zinc plating for rust and corrosion resistance. Amazon has a better price than most of your box stores and a better selection. Threads are clean and the head a clean Philips drive. Some cheap bolts and screws will have rough threads and drive from lower quality zinc plating.

So far, out of maybe 60 or 70 that I have used, I have found no rejects. The threads are cut properly and there are no sharp edges and the lengths are consistent. I would recommend them for everyday use.

The problem often with cheap import screws is that, often times, the threads just aren't straight or clean and they bind up. These seem to be fine; the threads fit the nuts cleanly and tightly.
