these gloves have proven comfortable and durable while performing stick and mig welding. they have performed on par with my last pair of gloves and were purchased at half the price. based on my steady usage and the minimal wear they show so far these gloves should last a couple of years.

highly recommended, particularly at this price point. the other reviewer mentioned that they seemed to be short, i have not found this to be the case for their intended purpose. they cover the cuff of my jacket and extend up my forearm; the picture does make them appear to be shorter than they are. on my somewhat long arm they come up 4" or so above my wrist.

overall, a five star review!

The first day I used these gloves while melting some lead, I wore a hole in one of the fingers. The second day I wore a second, larger hole in another finger. If this stuff is really leather, it is the most rotten leather I've ever seen. They are basically one-use, disposable gloves. Don't waste your money.

I bought these for my husband to use with our charcoal grill. They definitely keep his hands protected from the heat much longer than any pot holder/gloves we've ever tried. They are also a lot more flexible than most leather grill gloves (and cheaper). We just wish they were a little bit longer to cover more of the wrist/forearm.
