I've been trying to find the "right" diabetic sock for me. I tried several different brands like Wigwam's and several others.. I picked up a pair of the Dr. Scholl's white diabetic crew socks at Wal-Mart. They are the best I've found so far. They stay up..they do not get loose in the foot or sloppy..they really cushion the foot..The seem at the toe is unnoticeable, they're very comfortable, they hold up after the several times they've been washed now. They're hard to find though. Especially in the white crew sock. Even Wal-Mart had only the one package and I've been back since and still no white crews. I just ordered four packages from Amazon and was happy to find them. By the way, I would recommend this sock not just for diabetics..They're great for anyone who is concerned about good circulation to your feet..They leave no marks or impressions on your ankles when you remove them and putting them on is a breeze.

I bought mine at Wal-Mart. They're my first try with "diabetic socks." I love them because they don't constrict circulation. They seem a lot healthier than regular socks which tend to bind more than necessary. I've come to dislike socks so much I wear ankle-less socks (peds) whenever possible to avoid the feeling of blood vessel constriction. Yeah for diabetic sock manufacturers! I think these socks can be improved in 2 ways: First, I find they make my feet perspire more than other socks. I usually wear no shoes at work, when at my cubicle, and my feet still sweat like crazy. I think it's because the fabric doesn't breathe as much as they should. Second, the socks cause stinky feet. I think it's because of excessive perspiration. With other socks, my feet rarely sweat but these socks make my feet feel wet most of the time. Overall, however, I am a converted "diabetic sock" wearer. Now there's no going back to regular socks. Freedom for our lower extremities!!!

These socks look just like the picture: not too short, not too tall. They are well-constructed, soft, wash well, and fit a size 7.5 shoe (woman) perfectly. The tops stay up, but do not squish the calf at all. They are thick enough to perfectly pad the diabetic shoes. I do not see a problem with the seam across the toes.

We purchased these socks for my husband and eventually gave them to a Homeless shelter. We had previously purchased them at a local shoe store and when we saw these on amazon..we bought some. They were not the same quality they were much thinner and shrank when washed. When we contacted Dr, Scholls office they had never sold any to this site.

I have very sensitive feet because of my Fibromyaliga and I feel the ridge from where they are sown together even when I wear them inside out they still bother my feet. I need the socks with out the sown ridge in them.

My last review on these socks was very positive. This newest shipment is not as good. I think something has changed with these socks. I made the same order as last time but these pairs are much smaller (I ordered same size) and the leg part is thinner. I'm not as thrilled with this shipment. The shipper is great, but the socks...not so much.

I have purchased these exact same socks, same size, from a local Walmart store. I am a diabetic and find these socks to feel wonderful. However, these socks from Amazon are too small. I would return them except that I've worn them in hopes that they might stretch a little bit. They don't. I will have to go back to Walmart.
