The dessert recipe i wanted to make called for a mango syrup. Since i haven't tasted the Torani and the Monin mango syrups, i decided to give both a try. Growing up eating Philippine mangoes during the mango season will pretty much give me an idea of how mangoes should taste like.
IMO, the Torani mango syrup doesn't taste like it has real mango in it, tastes very artificial.
On the other hand, the Monin mango syrup surely would have artificial ingredients in it too but Monin did a pretty good job of making the syrup taste more like pureed mango. I love Monin. I hope that the Rose and the Lavender syrups i bought just now won't disappoint as well.

Great for adding a mango sweetness flavor to anything from drinks... like tea, smoothies, soda (add to Sprite or ginger ale), adult cocktails... to flavoring sauces or adding to desserts.
A favorite, I add 50% milk and 50% Monin and make the best milkshakes and homemade ice cream around ;~) The flavors are never ending.

Love this syrup, use for mango tea and it is delicious. While trying to order this though I was unable to purchase the combo option to relieve the pump with the syrup so that was a bummer. Ended up having to purchase the pump completely separate and actually ended up receiving the pump way before the syrup came in. Other than the issue with ordering and the slower shipping it was still a good product.

We went to a casual restaurant in Tampa with the family while on vacation last year. At the station with the fountain soda, tea, etc., they had a bottle of this. A couple of pumps in my iced tea were amazing. We now always have a bottle on hand, especially during the warm months when we drink a lot of iced tea. One or two pumps turns an otherwise normal beverage into something damn refreshing. And I haven't even properly explored the range of adult beverage options it could provide.

If you're an iced tea drinker, I'd highly recommend you get this - and the proper Monin pump. You won't regret it. My one complaint is that I'm an immediate gratification type of guy. This usually comes from a third party and takes longer to ship than my Amazon Prime stuff. But it still usually takes less time than advertised to arrive. Totally worth it.

I purchased the blackberry flavor and use it in tea and sprite (blackberry limeade). It's a lot better than Torani, better quality, consistency, and flavors.

Picked this up for flavoring soda at home. Ok for fruity rum drinks, but it has a bit of over-ripe mango aftertaste if used to make soda on its own. If you like your mangos with that 'just ripe' tangy, light sweet flavor, look elsewhere for a syrup.
