BOB combines their lightweight sport utility stroller with an Ironman pedigree. The BOB Ironman stroller is perfect for the parent that is serious about fitness and safety. The stiffer three-inch suspension utilizes shock absorbers (coil springs with an elastomer core) to provide a gentle ride and high performance and has two positions to accommodate bigger and smaller children. The fixed front wheel and 16-inch road slicks have a low profile and high pressure to make it ideal for city and suburban jogging. The one-hand, adjustable tracking knob makes steering a breeze and keeps the stroller centered.

BOB’s lightest stroller at 22 pounds, the frame is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy that is lightweight and high strength. The padded, stain-resistant seat is soft and cushy, reclines up to 70 degrees from vertical, and has the standard five-point harness to provide maximum stability and comfort. The full sun canopy provides ample shade and protection from the elements for your little passenger, and a front wheel fender shields spray and protects their toes. The canopy window allows you to keep an eye on baby as well. The wheel rims are aluminum alloy with stainless steel spokes, and the hubs feature a quick-release aluminum axle and sealed cartridge bearings. The caliper handbrake slows the stroller with ease, while the foot-activated "parking brake" is simple and handy. Storage is not a problem with twin interior seat pockets, a large below-seat storage basket, and a deep seatback pocket. The two-step fold can be done in one motion, and the lightweight frame makes it portable and stowable. Removing the wheels decreases the height and length significantly for storing in tight spaces. The handlebar height is 41 inches, and the wheel base is 29 inches.

They say it meets the "stringent requirements" of the Ironman Triathalon, and there is no doubt about that. But more importantly, it meets the stringent requirements of the performance-minded parent that wants exceptional styling, comfort, safety, and handling. BOB Ironman Sport Utility Stroller in Racing Yellow
I have the bob ironman in blue. We bought this Stroller over 2 years ago when we had our first baby. I am an avid runner and needed something that was smooth and durable. This is the stroller. I will tell you how well it has withstood the wear and tear we have put on it:
We now live in Europe and chose to bring only one stroller, although it is definitely not a touring stroller, it doesn't turn well since the front wheel is fixed, it has been great on all the old cobblestone roads and all the bumpy streets we have been on. 2 years here and it is still in great condition. I can still run with it and it is still smooth. Other parents we know who have moved to Europe have had to replace their strollers over and over again, even strollers they have purchased in Europe. We haven't and won't have to.
The frame is so stable. If you are into long distance running this is an excellent option for a stroller; exceptionally smooth and sturdy.
Not a small stroller, but then when you are looking for a good running stroller, small really can't be an option.

The BOB Ironman stroller is amazing! My wife and I are both avid runners and we wanted a stroller that was easy to maneuver and also provided our one year old daughter with a really safe comfortable ride. The BOB fits the bill. It is so easy to push over all types of terrain, whether it be blacktop running tracks, grassy parks, or gravel. The huge tires and super shocks give such a smooth ride. My wife even took our daughter blueberry picking on a farm with the BOB and together they sailed over the bumpy sandy soil. The stroller has replaced our other stroller system and we use the BOB everywhere, even in the grocery store. The fabric is great and wipes right off and there is a nice sized storage area on the bottom. The storage compartment by the handlebar is perfect for a cell phone, car keys, a baby bottle, and a water bottle. Additionally, the yellow color is really sharp and is very easy to spot whether you are on the road or running in a wooded area. When my wife and I are running at different speeds at our local reservoir I never lose sight of her and our daughter. The color is not only attractive, but a great safety feature. The oversized sunshade is huge and provides ample protection. The harness system is a snap and is so well padded and comfortable. Our daughter loves the BOB and happily sits in there for huge amounts of time, all the while kicking her little feet and seeming to marvel at how much room she has. She has an unobstructed view and loves to relax and enjoy being outside while Mommy and Daddy run. The BOB folds up in 2 seconds flat and is really lightweight. My wife throws it right in the back of her SUV and it practically takes up no room room at all. We are all so pleased with the Ironman stroller and recommend it without reservation!

Have you ever ridden in a vehicle or on a bike that you just felt was better designed? Or used a tool or a piece of software that just worked seamlessly? That's the feeling you get from this stroller.
I can't believe how smoothly it rolls. It's also very comfortable for my son. He quite prefers it to his 'regular' stroller. His visibility is also better, which he enjoys.
If you're going to run with your child, I strongly recommend this stroller.
