Word of advice: I measured my little puppy's neck, and chose this collar based on that, but could not get it over his head. The ten inches seemed plenty big with room to spare around the collar area of the my little Yorkie, but I did not think to consider the size of his head. If you plan to get this type of chain, make sure you account for this. The chain itself is quite nice.

full disclosure, I'm not using it for it's intended purpose. I'm actually suing it as a safety chain from a head collar to a flat collar, the way a women's bracelet may have a safety chain in case the clasp breaks. That being said, it suits my purposes perfectly, is very small and lightweight and was a good value for the very reasonable price. I imagine it would work as intended for a very tiny pet, but it would have to be extremely small since this is a very lightweight chain--so small that I can't even imagine why you'd need a choke-chain...
