The ground celery seed was very aromatic and an OK price. The one thing that was not OK was Marshalls Creek did not put it in a bottle as shown in their picture. They put the spice in a non-sealable plastic bag. If you do not have an empty bottle laying around, you might want to avoid purchasing spices from Marshalls Creek.

I would have loved this if it had come in a container instead of a plastic bag...prob my fault for not pating attention. It sure smelled fresh but I never used it. I gave to a neighbor that was moving. Would buy again based on how good it smelled and if ordered for sure in a container

I have been looking for this spice as it is no longer carried by any of the major grocery stores, so I was happy to see it available at a reasonable price as well in a manageable size. Celery seed is my secret weapon in my spaghetti sauce but it can leave a grittiness unless you cook the sauce for many hours. The ground seed works so much better and also can be used in egg salad, etc. This 12 oz package is the perfect size for the home chef.

Received it a few years ago, and am just renewing it. Some complained the it was in a bag...I received mine in a bottle. As, most positive reviewers have stated, it is hard to find ground in the grocery stores. Also, it is hard to grid at home. Wish it came in smaller bottle sets of 3-4 bottles to keep it fresher longer.
