About the Director
FROM TVM: Transition Video Magazine Issue 002 is an independently produced documentation of modern art, modern music, and the lifestyle of modern culture. Our goal is not only to document artists and musicians: we also set out to create a visually and viscerally pleasing contribution to the arts ourselves. Each issue features the packaging artwork of a visual artist whose work we are personally moved by. We follow this guideline in the selection of musicians and artists we document. In other words, we don't look for, or produce materials on people, bands, or social issues just to sell copies. The artists and issues within are selected by our heartfelt love of the artist or our passionate concern for social or political issues. Before we get too serious, we love to keep things lighthearted. While we have a passion for the independent art world, we have a youthful approach and a good sense of humor. TVM is produced and edited by Bryan Wynacht, Jake Burghart and Mike Lipscomb (Against Me! "We're Never Going Home" DVD).
