It was my LUCKY DAY! I found this pair of scissors. I didn't know what the notches were for but they really help get a grip on heavy weight materials I would cut. Have used them for every thing from trimming my beard to snipping wire and thin aluminum. Compact size is easy to grip even with my larger hands. The blades are holding up great, still quite SHARP. The set screw has never needed to be tightened. These would work great in a household tool box, tackle box, hunting pack box, or shaving kit. The quality and versatility make for an excellent value. MADE IN THE USA!!!!!!
