Good screws, but 97 is not 100!

These screws are just fine for screwing into things. Functionally, I'm quite satisfied. But the quantity was not correct; I only received 97 screws. I ordered a pack of 100, not a pack of 97, and not a pack of "100, plus or minus 3%." And as it turned out, the project I'm working on happens to require--get this--98 screws. Such is life, I suppose. I might not have even noticed if I hadn't needed 98, or maybe I'd even be smiling if I got 103 instead of 97, but this time I got 97, so there go two stars.

Metric machine screws.

I needed longer metric thread size screws for mounting new kitchen cabinet handles. The ones that came with the handles weren't long enough. Metric thread sizes are not the easiest to find and when you do they cost much more than they should. These cost quite a bit less than any other vendor I found who had them and worked fine for me.

Screw it?

Screws. They are the size and length I needed, and work well. I admit I did not count them, but I didn't really need 100. Still, I have a lot extra if I need them! It's not easy to find metric screws with the right heads for cabinet knobs, so these were the closest I could find. These were used to replace other metric screws with tiny heads which our contractor advised us would rip right through the cabinet eventually. You can find these screws at Ace for around 50 cents a screw, but these were a far better price, even after buying way more than I needed.

Great deal

I needed these to mount a 4-pin mini-DIN power jack to a panel for a product I am making. I searched a lot of places for these and this was by far the best deal. You won't find them at your local big box store. Online I'd usually find a good price but crazy shipping. These were perfect for what I needed them for. They fit perfect. The head is very durable -- I haven't stripped one yet. The customer I sent the first two to is very happy. I just wish they came in black. It's also good to know these can mount laptop optical drives. I am going to need that too. Thanks Amazon for providing these hard to find screws.!

GREAT BUY

Standard for Slim Optical Drives

I bought these because they were not provided with either the slim optical DVD/CD burner I bought or the adapter that allows me to mount it in a desktop computer. I am pleased to report they fit the industry standard for these devices.

not exactly a pack of 100

counted 103 screws, but on my other more expensive order Zinc Plated Steel Machine Screws counted 94 total. I received less of the more expensive screws and got a little more on the less expensive stuff. overall on an order of 200 screws received 197
