At first, I thought the other reviewers who said this wasn't as good as brand name tape were persnickety weirdos. It's tape, right? What does brand matter when I can save a few bucks? Turns out, this stuff really is lousy-- it's not exactly opaque, but it's a stretch to call it clear. On colored wrapping paper, it shows up as white. Over lettering (attaching a label to a package), it makes words harder to read. Plus it peels off easily, so stuff I've taped down not only looks cruddy, it's also not secure. Next time I'll not be so quick to judge and I'll spend a extra few bucks for the real deal.

This is regular cellophane/invisible tape. The kind of thing you keep on your desk to mend paper tears or seal poly bags and boxed items you intend to return and attach wrapping paper to itself. This is not duct tape, that stuff that is water proof, has a dark side, a light side, and binds the universe together (wait, isn't that the Force? *shrug*). This is good cellophane/invisible tape and at a decent price.

This Duck Brand Invisible Tape is not comparable to Scotch Magic Refill Roll, 0.75 x 900 Inches (205-L) in quality, but the Duck Brand tape is MUCH less expensive. My son bought this for our shop and it is acceptable for most tasks, but not for signage on the retail floor since it is not as "invisible" as I would like.

I do like that you can write on this tape with pen\pencil and that the matte finish is mostly non-reflective (important when taking pictures using a flash).

This is a good value for daily use tape, but we will likely pay a little more for Scotch Brand going forward.

This is tape. This tape works like other tapes. This tape is translucent. I like this tape. I would recommend this tape.
I actually was buying a few things and at the time this qualified for free shipping... so I took advantage of it and it saved me from going to the local store.

No, this isn't as "transparent" as the other brand, or the other brand's "Gift Wrap" Tape. I have tried it on gift wrap, specifically silver metallic gift wrap and it is atrocious. Not a huge deal though, it's just tape! You can use it for plenty more things than gift wrap. You get a lot of it for less $$$. I feel like I am always running out so I wanted to stock up on bargain tape. I pretty much only use this on white paper, or to help seal envelopes. I'm not trying to make anything look nice and fancy. If that is what you need it for, then this is probably not for you. The tape seems to stick fine. It's a great price for something that can quickly be used up, and I am constantly looking for tape around the house, which is why I wanted the three rolls. The odds of me finding at least one of them somewhere in the house is greater than if I spent the same amount of money on 1 roll of the leading brand.

I bought this because it was 3 rolls for $2, a much better price than I could find anywhere else. I didn't even look at the reviews because, well, it is tape. This does not stick very well. I used several pieces to tape my daughter's artwork to the wall and it kept falling down. I'm sure my daughter will have fun playing with this tape, but now I still need to buy some tape that will be useful to me. I did not expect this from a well-known tape brand.

This is NOT Invisible tape- it's transparent and white-ish. I didn't open it for months- who would think to check to make sure the tape is "invisible"? So obviously I can't return it. Do NOT buy this if you think it's going to be invisible tape like the Scotch tape you buy at your local store. It's transparent, not invisible. I'll attach a picture so you can see what I mean.
