i order about $8000 in wire in many different sizes colors. almost every spool showed up broken a blown up mess. the smaller gauge wire spools from 10 awg and smaller was not as bad as the heavier gauge wire. some of the wire was not usable as it was damaged in transport. ancor marine wire is the best marine wire out there and i would buy it again but i dont think i would from amazon. some spools were sold as 800 foot but were only 750 foot per the sticker on the spool from ancor. not i real big deal when it is 18 awg as it is cheap but im talking about 2 awg 4 awg and 1/0 awg now were talking a big chunk of money lost. when buying this keep in mind what you order is not always what your going to get and the larger spools of big wire are very very heavy and a pain to ship back. some of the spools were shipped with out not even being in a box just slapped a shipping sticker on the spool and sent it. the outter runs of those spools were scuffed all up and not usable

I have used Ancor products exclusively for years when reliability is required. I love this wire. It's strong, flexible, corrosion resistant and can handle any electrical load in its rating. It's not as flexible as that goofy, floppy Monster cable but far more than household THHN wire. It can be secured in bundles without sagging but make and bend necessary and not fight you.

This is the best wire I have ever purchased. Individually tinned, thin copper strands, with a thick but flexible sheath. I got 2/0 which is thick and heavy, and it's tightly wound so I have no worries running high current through this (compared to some of the cheaper options out there). Very satisfied customer.
