I have an E-bike. Unless you have ridden one, most people havnt at this point, you will Never know the Joy that it can elicit. Riding a bike can be fun, even exhilarating, but this is the feeling you get when jumping on the people mover at the Airport. I built my my own E-bike. A mountain bike with dual suspension. Tires are of utmost importance. I had a 2.1 x 26" tire on the front wheel. It was appropriate for what I needed but I don't have pedal to exceed 30 mph. Bumps can kick the stuffing out of all that bliss I'm speaking of. So I went to a bigger 2.3 version. The difference in control, ease of movement, avoiding the unseen obstacles because I rubberneck too much, is astounding. People don't even know it's an E-bike because of my 'stealth' design. When your in a car you don't feel the wind in your hair. I live near the sea so the air is always blowing fresh in my cat that ate the canary, face. It's perfectly humidified, down my gullet. I've noticed also that you have avoid at all times, an unconcerned person in a car will run you down without thinking, until it's too late. You make that mistake once and this would not be written so glibly. This tire is perfect for off road moderation and fantastic on the street. My bike weighs in excess of 70 lbs. but I would never know it. A super tire. By the way people, get an e-bike. It's green, it's like riding horseback in the city, only mechanically, better. Happy trails....

My wife and I have been riding a recumbent trikes for a couple of years now. Because of various circumstances we've had the opportunity to ride on several different tires made by Schwalbe. But when it came time to buy new tires for a big tour coming up, the cost of 6 new Schwalbes was pretty hard to swallow. On the recommendation of another trike rider, I ordered 3 of these Geax tires to try out and it only took one ride to fall in love with them.

Because they run at 100psi, their rolling resistance (or lack thereof) is amazing. Superior to any other tire I've tried.

I love that the tread on the Geax goes all the way up the sides of the tire. When we were riding on Schwalbes, every flat we got was from a sidewall puncture.

I pair them with Suntour thorn-resistant tubes. A little big heavier, but they seem to be much more durable as well. Something about this combination is like magic: I pumped them up to 100psi at the beginning of October and I just checked them yesterday (it's the end of January) and to the hand it doesn't feel like they have lost any pressure at all. (I'd guess if I used a guage it would probably read in the 90's)

There is only one feature that would make this tire better. All Schwalbe's have a highly reflective strip around both sides of the tire. This is a nice safety feature that helps makes bikes extra visible to cars. If Geax could figure out a way to install some kind of highly-reflective compount between the tread pattern on the sidewalls this tire would be even more amazing.

Works a treat on my generic Chinese folding bicycle. Obviously much smoother and efficient than the original knobby tires. I'm using them with some extremely thick sunlite thorn resistant tubes, all told they're holding up about 220lbs, with no complaints. Rock on!
