This is hands down the best product for long hair! My hair is waist-length and wavy, and even in the high humidity climate that I live in, it still manages to keep frizz under control. I've tried Tresemme, Herbal Essences, Garnier, etc. and none of them can compare! Unfortunately, the stores in my area stopped carrying Beautiful Lengths, so it looks like I gotta get it here. Believe me, if you have long or frizzy hair, this is worth every penny! As the previous reviewer stated, the jar isn't the most practical container, but its still fairly easy to apply in the shower. I wish it would have come in a regular bottle, but thats my only complaint. Aside from the packaging, this product is outstanding!

This is a good product. It makes my hair feel fuller, manageable, and healthy. BUT, It has the worst packaging ever. The container is very smooth, and hard to hold onto in the shower. The lid is also slick and difficult to turn with wet hands. It says not to get water in the product. I have difficulty, however, getting this slick lid off, dipping one hand into it, applying to hair, and somehow keeping the conditioner from falling off my head while I attempt to twist the slick lid onto the slick container with my now wet and conditioner covered hand while in the shower. The first time, I dropped the smooth, wet container onto the shower floor and lost half the product. There is no reason this could not be in a tube or other squeeze type container. It's not so thick that it wouldn't work. The packaging engineers at P & G should be severely chastised for this obviously poor design. I'll not be buying again, unless they change the packaging.

I use this treatment once a week. After shampooing, I put it all over my wet hair and let it sit for 5 minutes then rinse it off. My hair feels so, so soft and silky and sets it up for the rest of the week.

This mask is almost entirely silicone. There are few healthy ingredients in it at all. Silicone is a bad thing for two reasons: it coats the hair shaft so that any lipids or minerals cannot penetrate the cuticle; second, it builds up something awful, which weighs down the hair and makes it less responsive to styling. When I first started using this mask, I liked the results. It made my somewhat dry, frizzy hair soft and smooth and shiny. However, as time went on, the results were less impressive. In fact, I never had the same result as I did at first. My hair was heavy and responded less and less to my styling efforts. I finally used a clarifying shampoo (Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil shampoo with apple cider vinegar--sulfate free and color safe, btw) and the difference was like night and day. However, I went back to using this mask and the same thing happened again. Silly me, I finally figured out what was causing the problem: this Pantene mask. I now use a mask that has no silicone so the ingredients actually penetrate the hair shaft giving me consistently soft, supple, shiny hair that is very manageable (Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter or Manuka Honey--available at Target, Walgreens., CVS, Ulta and Sally Beauty Supply). Yes, they are a bit more expensive but they're very thick and rich and extremely concentrated so a little goes a long way. My hair has never looked or felt better. In fact, I love the whole SM line. All the shampoos are sulfate free and therefore color safe, as well as very hydrating and gentle and they don't weigh my hair down at all. SM is the best hair product discovery I've ever made. But if you don't mind heavy silicone, by all means use this Pantene mask. But be aware, you're not getting real conditioning, only a coating of slick, gooey silicone. I definitely don't recommend this product.
