Very simply, if you need threads to the top of a 2" bolt, this one is not for you. I can only find a few "all thread" pieces at 1/4" 20 in hardware stores so I thought I'd found "gold" when I saw a box here from this supplier of "all thread" 2" bolts. I'm guessing from memory that you have about 1.5" thread and another top 1/2" of smooth bolt to the hex head. Not worth the shipping to send back, but big disappointment.
