First of all, who would have thought that a product name WD-40 will become a household name? It is a terrible name. It is almost impossible to remember such a name unless they did something right. WD-40 is a great product! Just do a search for the list of uses for WD-40 and you'll be amazed. Only a list of what Chuck Norris can do can top that.

And this is now my favorite WD-40. I probably have bought 5 or more cans in different sizes in the past; all of them got lost before I finished them. For occasional users, this is the perfect size. It has a felt tip that releases a drop every time you push the pen down. No mess! In the past, I used the spray cans and it goes all over the place. This is a very convenient way of dispensing the content. It even has a stripe of transparent window so you can see how much is left - clever idea.

For larger areas of application, you should stick with the spray cans.

i used this almost right away to try to unfreeze a lug bolt, it worked out well but i found myself 'pumping' the tip to try to get a flow going, also it didnt work real great in the cold.

i can see how really using this thing in an emergency could end up just breaking it and making a mess. i wish that wd40 would make an aresol or even a pump spray pen.

I am (like many others) a WD40 fan from years of experience with the best product for metal protection and just a million other uses. The no-mess pen is the perfect item to apply WD40 and I can't ever find these at stores so buy them on Amazon Perfect!!!

I purchased the WD-40 pen for a very specific reason: to remove carbon fouling from gun-mounted flashlight lenses. If you have a flashlight mounted, especially on a pistol where the flashlight lens is close to the end of the barrel, the exhaust gas produced on each shot can foul the flashlight lens and be difficult to remove. This stuff cuts through it very effectively, and then I follow that up a Zeiss Lens Cloths Wipe: Zeiss Pre-Moistened Lens Cloths Wipes 400 Ct (2 Pack). Hope this helps!

The pen arrived with only about 10% filled with WD 40. Rather than going to the trouble of returning it for exchange, I drilled a hole in the end of the pen and filled it from a WD40 can. I then closed the hole with a plastic screw and sealed it with epoxy.

Hard to find this item in local hardware stores, such as Lowes, HD or Rural King. Great for bug out bags (i.e. oil for knives, firearms, other tools), tool chest or in the car/truck. You never know when you'll need a drop of oil to free something up or make something work more easily.
