We bought a hot potato very similar to this one years and years ago. Our youngest son is mentally challenged and has always adored this game. During a move we misplaced his hot potato he was depressed for ages. Then I finally found this hot potato on Amazon. We are all again happily playing hot potato with are son and now with our 4 grandsons(sons of our oldest). They all just love it and now want one for their house. Of course grandma will have to comply come Christmas.

We purchased 2 Hot Potatos for one of the party games for oldest child's (boy) 8 year old birthday party. All the boys and girls LOVED it - and it got tossed, hit on the floor, even sat on. It was great fun then and it still is - - my three boys still love playing with the "hot potato". I would recommend this for birthday parties too - all the kids loved it - their parents thought it was great too!

What a fun little toy. Nothing educational about it, just a fun toy. Something parents can play with their children. No set-up, doesn't take hours. Just pick it up, turn it on, and toss it. We find ourselves just picking it up and playing for a few minutes at a time between other (non-interactive) activities or chores. Good to have around the house. What more could you want in a toy!

I bought this toy for my nephew for Christmas, however I received it by Thanksgiving and decided to give him an early present. My nephew is six and has a four year old brother as well as three older brothers (13, 16 and 19). I enjoyed seeing all five boys interact at the same time with this game, it is hard to find something that is fun for all ages.

This toy was a great hit for a 6 year old birthday party. The kids were hysterical laughing and all the parents were saying, "where did you get that toy" It has with stood 2 years of throwing and dropping by a 4 & 6 yr old. I am buying this for a 4 year olds birthday. great toy.

My children (age 5, and 15) and I have lots of fun with Hot Potato!!! The toy is a little loud at first, but after dropping it a few times during normal play it is much more quiet :)
Definitely an activity each of us, with our varying ages and interests, enjoys.

We use this toy as we are just sitting around watching tv or whatever. My 4 year old also came up with another use for the toy beside hot potato, it works great as a timer for musical chairs.

My granddaughter and her two parents and I payed Hot Potato for an hour. We had such fun, and we laughed a lot. The adults could remover this game from childhood, and we had used a real potato or a rock or something similar.

The game came packaged in a thick plastic. Easy to open, with instructions in place. Batteries were included, so it was very easy to use right out of the box. My granddaughter, 5, caught on right away , and she mastered the game. She won most of the games , though the competition got a little fierce towards the end. This is a fun game for 3, but more fun for 3 or more. Lots of laughs. Brought back the simple times of yore. The music is fun and the pace picks up quickly. This will liven up your holidays !
