The hospital called these "fishnets" (like the stockings) this product is wonderful for holding bandages up and allowing a certain amount of breath-ability for wounds. These are a lot lighter to wear than an ace type bandage and the quality is above par. I have severe swelling in my legs (lymphademia)and this will stretch in a way that does not cause me more pain or pinch or feel restrictive in any way. I love this product and recommend it highly.

This product was used to keep a gauze bandage in place. It fit well over an average adult male's knee and lower thigh. If you need to go further than a couple of inches down from the knee, consider size 4. Similarly, if you need to go to upper thigh, size 6 might be better.

I docked this one star due to the price tag. I know I'm old, but a buck a yard for elastic netting seems a bit high to me.

i got little bits of this from the hospital when i was there. but i wanted a larger quanity for when i put dressings on my knee which i am having replaced. and these are great...they are as good as tape for hold dressing in place.

Last year when I took my sister into the hospital for legs wounds due to diabetes, they were putting on a net like sock on to hold the bandages on. And they did it when I wasn't there, so I wasn't able to ask questions of them. But I kept looking them on line and I finally found them. I found this here on Amazon and I decided to try it and it's the same bandage that they were using. They are only for single use as they do get dirty from the medical goo I put on the wounds and the pads. But they keep everything where it needs to be and lets air in to help heal the wound. And yes I will be buying these again when I run out.

This stuff is amazing. Stretchy but not too stretchy. Good for holding dressings when you don't want to or can't use tape. Mom was bed ridden when she wore this so can't say how it will work if walking about.

PERFECT ! ! ! Be sure you order this product from Amazon. I made the mistake of purchasing this product from Staples and found that they have this pre-cut into 6 inch strips and charging considerably more. For my needs, pre-cut in 6 inch strips rendered the other length useless…adding even more to the cost.

After surgery my doctor wanted me to to wear silicone sheets on the scars on my upper arms. They kept rolling on the ends and I had trouble getting them to stay in place. My doctor suggested using some type of mesh netting over the sheets. I researched online and came up with this product. I like the fact that I can cut it to any size and there is quite a lot of dressing in the package for several applications. It has worked great to help hold my sheeting in place. The only problem I have is that I have to keep pulling it back up in place because shirts sleeves pull it down. Other than that it works great!

This brand rolls up after two washings so it is unusable. Also it has a sratchier feelon the skin than the cotton brand. It's okay but I'd only buy it again if nothing else in the size I need was available.
