I have a sailboat with 4 acrylic opaque skylights. They are bedded into recesses in the fiberglass deck. For several years I've used marine grade silicone seal to rebed them, which usually started leaking within a year or two, tops. Last time I used Dow Corning 795. It's going on 4 years now, and not a leak. I also used this stuff to re-glue the plastic hatch to its aluminum frame. That was about 3 years ago and the stuff is still holding tenaciously without a leak.

The caulk has a wonderfully, rich consistency, unlike any silicone caulk I have previously used. It allowed me time to work with it and to set (I was installing acrylic, plexiglass windows in my San Juan 21 and needed time to fasten screws, align the frames).
How well the caulk holds its seal has yet to be determined. I know that sailboat owners have given this product a thumbs up.

This is a high performance sealant that is definitely worth the money. I use to caulk around between stucco and new windows. When dealing with stucco, don't cut corners--you're only asking for trouble later on. As a suggestion, call Dow Corning tech service. I was going to use another of their products but was guided to 795. The tech service rep seemed to know his stuff.

This caulking is very good. I used it around the cabin windows of our boat. It stays pliable but they say it's not paintable although I did paint in some of the places I put it. And what's left in the tube does not harden as some of the others do provided you tape the exposed hole after you put a screw in it.
