I have a little 4lb Yorkie with very fine hair. This comb is perfect for him. Just the right size. It is perfect for the face, especially around the eyes. I wet his eyes and use a little eye cleaning solution and then I use the comb to pulls any goobers out. If there is any little bits I miss I usually follow with a flee comb and that will get anything left behind. We go through the routine each morning and he has a nice clean face for the day. I also use the li'l pals slicker brush and follow up with the comb to make sure there are no tangles.

I got this to groom my 12 lb. Yorkie mix. Bailey is an active 4 year old. She gets very dirty and scruffy. I like to let her fur grow, but she has a thick undercoat that has begun to knot up. I have a rubber tipped brush that is too big to brush everywhere. I got a spray conditioner to use with this comb and the brush. We were able to eliminate all the tangles with only a few needing snipping. I first brushed and then combed. After the tangles were gone she enjoyed the comb and the brush. She got treats. :)

I love this little comb. My 13 lb., adopted Havanese mix had NEVER been groomed! He had to be shaved at the groomer and his coat came off in sheets! He hated being groomed in any way. This little comb made him into an angel who loves to be groomed. It's great for little feet, faces and eyes. I guess it's because it is so small.....not scary at all! It is great for tackling matts or tangles. We have 150 year old pine trees on our property and this time of year the sap is everywhere, including Max's paws! He just lays there while I tackle this tedious job. Thank you for a great product.

This comb is ok. The dual length teeth are nice to remove the undercoats from cats and dogs. But the reason I only gave it 3 stars is because this comb is so darn tiny! It takes me forever to comb through my maltese and she is one petite dog. There is no way I could imagine trying to use this on a medium size animal. If it wasn't too late I would return this but I'm going to give this away to my groomer and buy a larger version.

I use this small comb -- and they are hard to find -- for my seven-pound Yorkshire Terrier and it works very well, especially around his face and when I want to pull his hair into a topknot. The variegated comb teeth help me get all of the snarls out and work in small areas, like around his eyes. A fine comb!

Wow! This little shedding comb is so good for cleaning up long haired angora cats. I have
a long haired ginger cat who was so puffy with all the spring undercoat, I spent an hour
on him thinking maybe a lion cut would be good for him, but got him cleaned up with this
shedding comb from Li'l Pals and the other double sided comb from the same company and
you should see him now! He looks like a much thinner version of himself and I don't think
he's going to shed anything anytime soon! I threw the undercoat hair into a wash basin filled
with water so it wouldn't go airborne and then when I got finished, and scooped it up with
my hand and tossed it into a lined waste basket, I almost had it filled to the top! He looks
magnificent! Just locked him in the bathroom and went at it! I threw out that furnimator
device! This works better! And he purred all the while because it felt good. I was very
gentle with him and he is good to go! He looks so good, he looks like a different cat!
Totally impressed with the results!
