Just got my order of these tablets today. Thought I was getting a really good deal with 1000 but I have to use twice as many as with my usual brand. I was using 1 per 10 lbs.; these require 2 per 10 lbs. So I must use twice as many so it is not nearly the bargain I thought. But the worse part is that liver and peanut butter are both listed in the description above ingredients and neither of these are listed on the ingredients on the bottle.

The ingredients on the bottle are: Brewer's Dried Yeast, Montmoriilonite Clay, Diccalcim Phospahate, Garlic, Natureal Flavoring, Stearic Acid, Silica Aerogel, Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil, Magnesium, Stearate, Dried Whey, Vegetable Oil, Niacin supplement. Riblflavin, Ascorbic Acid, and Thiamine Mononitrate.

I am not even sure some of this this stuff is good for my dogs. Will have to figure out what the heck all this is. I may be sending it back.

FOLLOW UP: This company corrected their misinformation within a couple of days and offered me a full refund including shipping after I sent them an email. Very honest.

My dogs (all three of the them) like this product. Since it's summer, I've increased the dosage for flea control. And in the south, this is the best non-chemical prevention I can think of.

I bought brewers yeast with garlic from two different providers, Naturvet and Nutri-vet, and put 3 tabs of each on the floor, about 8" between the two types. My dog ate one Naturvet tab, sniffed the Nutri-vet then ate the other 2 Naturvet tabs and only then did he eat the Nutri-vet tabs. I repeated the test a day later and put the two rows about 3" apart with the same results; all the Naturvet tabs were eaten first.

I think the reason may be due to the Nutri-vet tabs having other vitamins in them. If I thought my dog needed those vitamins, it would be a good choice. However my dog gets a high quality dog food so I don't see a need for additional vitamins, instead my vote is for Naturvet due to my dog's taste preference.

I beg you PLEASE research garlic toxicity in pets. I purchased this product as an alternative flea and tick prevention product after my older dog had a bad reaction to one of the popular monthly drops. After using this product for just over a month, this morning (after fighting for his life for 5 days) my 4 month old puppy died from hemolysis caused by garlic toxicity!

Our dog isn't ecstatic over these but she will take them for me. She won't take them for my daughter however. I have made a counting game out of them for the dog and she just expects it every day. She doesn't even get her food until we count our tablets. Maybe she needs a shrink.

I had a dog that I rescued and when we got here she was missing patches of hair. We took her to the vet and it turned out she had demodex. He gave of this horrible smelling poison to bathe her in (armitraz i think) and we set up the bath and everything to bathe her but we just couldn't put her in there. The smell was horrible. I read online that brewers yeast could help and I started giving her these. I think it may have been the combination of these and the comfort of being in her forever home that made the demodex go away. She's a healthy dog now and we still give these to her and out other pets. 2 dogs and an 11 year old cat.

I ordered this because I wanted to alleviate fleas on my dogs. They've never had fleas before because of my using brewer's yeast with garlic tablets their entire lives, and all the dogs are around the 10 year mark. I ordered these tablets to save some money and am so sorry I did. First, there's no garlic in this but garlic flavoring. Not the same thing! My poor dogs are now suffering due to the false reviews on here. I'll be looking for something else and not worrying so much about saving money. My dogs are worth more than a few extra dollars to get the real thing.
