I know, it may unusual to wax euphoric about a toothbrush, but this one is worth it. I've been using it for a month - so far I can't find anything wrong with it! It feels great, and my mouth actually does feel cleaner than with other toothbrushes.

First, the extra-soft bristles are great if you have sensitive teeth like I do - but even if you don't, many dentists say we should all use softer toothbrushes anyway. The bristles glide across your teeth comfortably, and don't cause discomfort on the gums (which has always been a problem for me). The shape of the bristles makes it easy to reach hard-to-reach places in the back of the mouth, and the bristles don't get harder over time, the way most have for me in the past.

The tongue/cheek cleaner on the back of the head is the real surprise - it's very effective, and so comfortable! It's not a rough scraper the way some are, and it doesn't just slide across your tongue ineffectively, either. It works great, it makes my mouth feel cleaner, and using it before going to bed (I've found) actually helps reduce morning breath the next day. There's also not as much of that yucky sticky feeling in the morning, either.

I'm kind of a picky person, so I usually find some little fault, here or there, in many things. I'm honestly surprised to see that I haven't found any faults in this toothbrush so far. A five-star rating may seem a bit superfluous sometimes - but this toothbrush has earned it.

Several of the toothbrushes on the market are "wide" -- so wide that when brushing teeth, you spend quite a bit of time brushing your gums. Now, you're supposed to brush your gums too (helps prevent peridontal disease), but the bristles (even the soft ones) irritated my gums. I even progressed to using childen's toothbrushes as they weren't so wide.

I found this toothbrush online and was interested as it was supposed to be a sensitive toothbrush. I didn't like the look of the "rubber-looking" circles in the center and didn't want to buy 6 "mistakes" so decided against it. I then found it in the grocery store in a single toothbrush and bought it. I absolutely LOVE it.

It's the most gentle toothbrush I've ever used, which would be wonderful alone, but it also does an excellent job of cleaning my teeth -- better than any of the other toothbrushes I've used. You don't even notice the little "rubberish-plastic" circles when brushing -- feels like only bristles. It also has a tongue and cheek brush. Wow! I've stocked up for the time in the future when this brush gets discontinued. Just when you find something you love, it's discontinued! It's on my auto-purchase list for Amazon! Price is comparable to a little less than the price in stores locally. I never write reviews, but was so impressed with this toothbrush I just had to!

It's hard to find an extra soft, compact-sized toothbrush. This toothbrush is all that and more. It feels good in my mouth, does its job with aplomb, and feels good in my hand... it's all I've ever wanted in a toothbrush.

I've had Extra Soft tooth brushes before. This definitely isn't Extra Soft. It feels like a medium. Try a different brand.

My dentist has instructed me to use only extra soft toothbrushes. When all other brands of extra soft toothbrushes vanished from store shelves, I finally tried this one. The bristles are fine, but I found the tongue and cheek cleaner to be a little strange at first. Because it's attached to the back of the toothbrush head, the inside of your cheeks are cleaned while you brush. After a few days I got used to it, though I have no idea if there's any benefit to it. Were my cheeks really all that dirty before?

But these toothbrushes are becoming very hard to find. When local stores stopped carrying it (there's no place on the shelf for it now) I found it here and signed up for Subscribe and Save. Today my S&S order was canceled. I called Colgate and was told that this toothbrush has been renamed, to the Colgate 360 Sensitive Pro-relief Extra Soft. When I pointed out that renaming the toothbrush seems to have nearly doubled the price, I was told "Yes. Is there anything else I can help you with?"

Stock up now, while you can.

I bought this from a seller that shipped from India the second time -- first time it was Fulfilled by Amazon. The seller from India shipped product that was dusty and "old" looking. In addition, it was clearly meant for an Indian market (it had bilingual text on it) and I don't know what type of quality control those products have when compared to the same product that is meant for a US market. On top of that, it took an extremely long time (1 month) to get this product. The US product itself is great but if the seller doesn't have great ratings, I would recommend waiting or looking elsewhere.

much softer than Oral B's "extra soft." i can't believe there was a time when i used to used hard brushes...what the frak was i thinking? these are much better for your gums/teeth. they do get firmer over time so make sure to replace your toothbrush regularly. this is my new fave brush.
