It was definitely worth the money. Produces a great overall sound. I had been using a standard PA monitor, and I couldn't get any bass out of it. This one gives you a great balance of sound (that you can customize with the Bass and Treble EQ knobs). Clear sound, overall. However, the sound did start distorting at a volume that I would not consider being extremely loud. So, in my opinion it would not work as a speaker for a gig, if you were thinking of using it in that context. Would work fine as a personal monitor, but you would definitely want to go straight into the PA too. Also, since it's not stereo, I'd recommend making a custom set on your electronic kit that has all it's pans centered to get the most out of the sound.

Excellent sound. Used as amp for Yamaha Drum set. Has two inputs with separate volume controls which allows connection of iPod. Bass and treble controls affect both channels. Works great for in home practice. Would probably work well for low volume drum accompaniment In a group. Came packaged very securely. Very happy with my purchase.

This performs fairly well with my Roland HD4. One must have it up all the way due to the poor response from the drum set heads/pick-ups. In particular was the poor response in quantity and quality of the snare head. It does serve my purposes but, if you are looking for more sound with an all electric power amp driven guitars and keyboards, it wouldn't deliver the pop and sound one would need.
