I ordered this to weatherstrip my front door. I kept forgetting to pick some up every time I was at the hardware store, so ordering it online was handy. This is the perfect size for my door, 3/8 wide but 1/8 thick. I found so many others that were 3/8 or 5/8 thick--which was much too thick for the thin gap in my door. This fit perfectly, and installed in 2 seconds. You may not think that such a small gap in a door or window could make a big difference, but let me tell you it can! Before, when I held my hand in front of the door I could feel the frigid air streaming in. Now, I can't. Cheap, Quick and Easy.

I have a steel door with a lip on my house. Other weather stripping was not a good fit or solution to keeping my AC in and the heat out.

The only complaint I have is that the stripping truly is only enough for one door. The pricing is a bit high compared to what you get in those warehouse/home improvement stores. However, the quality of the stripping is still massively cost efficient. Unlike cellular stripping that will disintegrate on your door over the years, I can see this being one of my "never have to do it again" projects.

This would be a great purchase if the adhesive worked. Foolishly, i assumed some reviewers had received older/defective product, and went ahead and ordered anyway.

The tape is nice and spongy, goes on easily, and creates a good seal.

The downside, however, is that the adhesive completely disintegrated after 48 hours, and it all fell off. The material is too spongy to use other methods to attach- it tears if you try to staple it.

I am very happy with this X-Treme Tubber Weatherseal. I used it to help keep air from entering through the door that leads from the house to the garage where there was a significant draft coming into the house. This weatherseal was very easy to install. I just cleaned both sides of the doorjamb and top of the door with alcohol. The back of the weatherseal has a tape to peel off and expose the self-stick area. The directions are very clear. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a leaky door the would benefit from thin weatherseal. : )

I used this to put a nice, foamy edge around my front door during the winter months to keep out some air leakage I was receiving. Unfortunately it didn't hold up very well to the opening and closing of the door because the sticky substance just wasn't all that strong. It lasted a couple of weeks before I became irritated and removed it completely.

Purchased this for our front door entry. Cleaned the surfaces prior to installing with alcohol and waited till dry. Applied the weatherseal and it only lasted a couple of weeks before the adhesive started to let the rubber seal loose. The seal itself is nice and supple and would work great if only the adhesive was of a better lasting quality.

Great product. Used to weatherstrip large 100+ year old windows.The material can be compressed somewhat which helps fill slight variations in the frame and window panes, but not enough to get bigger gaps. Backing if fairly sticky and seems to stay on cleaned windows; claims to last years, but not sure how often I will need to reapply.

Applied to door frame as instructed. In less than 24 hours the weather-strip lost its adhesive ability and peeled off the door frame. The weather strip states on its package it will retain its shape in sub-zero temperatures, but in my case did not even work for sub-40 temperatures. Suggest stronger adhesive be used by the manufacturer.
