I've been playing guitar for 30+ years, have tried every flatpick I've ever come across, and nothing gives the tonal variety of a Fender celluloid pick. I use heavy guage myself, but the mediums and lights are equally good for their purpose.

And notice that I'm reviewing the PICK, not the company that ships them to me. The rules here clearly state that we are to address the PRODUCT. Only. If I had a beef with Amazon, I wouldn't blame the picks -- they're just plastic triangles -- how could THEY be to blame?

By the way, I play with the rounded corner of the Fender heavy pick, and this gives me a very mellow, "rotund" tone -- not too sharp, not so easily caught up in the strings, etc. I'm so old, I remember when these cost a nickel. Heh.

Go, Fender!

The FENDER medium shell pick is the best ever. I'm a GIBSON guy, but always use these picks. They always deliver and feel right. You will lose them way before you could ever wear them out.

I was satisfied not only with the shape and endurance of these Fender Guitar Picks, I was also thrilled by the textured color scheme on these picks.

With their medium weight, I also found them just right for beginners like me.

I purchased this pack even with the bad reviews regarding shipping. I figured worse case, I get less than 12 and have to submit a complaint to Amazon.

I was pleasantly surprised today when the shipment arrived. The picks were shipping in a padded envelope which was completely sealed. When I opened it, the picks were still in the little plastic case although that was really a miracle. The plastic case is not made very well and I can understand how it would come open during shipping.

I did receive all 12 picks though and overall am happy with the product.

These are great guitar picks. I buy the heavy stock version of these. They don't wear down as quickly as other guitar pick brands. They don't slip out of your fingers if they get a little sweaty. Maybe that's the celluloid, who knows, but great for fast shred playing, acoustic playing, and if you use thicker gauge stings you might want to consider these. And the white with gold trim makes them so pretty

These picks were around when I was a kid (-I'm 56). They're still around and pretty much the same (Aficionados discuss a difference in quality since D'Andrea stopped making these picks for Fender, but it's not a difference that would be noticeable to 99.9% of guitar players.) My jazz-playing friends who use "Benson picking" prefer this pick to all others. ("Benson picking" refers to an unorthodox way of gripping the pick named for George Benson, one of the greatest jazz guitarists of all time.) It is cheap, consistent, and available everywhere.

I prefer a smaller pick but I keep a few of these atop my Polytone at all times.

I've used Fender medium picks for closing in on 50 years, and these seem to be a little stiffer than what I get at the local music store. I'm ok since they are about right for the mandolin.
These old tortoise shell look is what I've carried since before I was a teenager, now I'd like some fluorescent colors so I can see them better.

I think guitar picks are a very subjective thing and so are guitar strings. I like these picks because they help in creating a really nice sound from my guitar. They also seem to last a long time. The quality is excellent, and they don't fall out of my fingers when playing. I play mostly classic rock and these work just great for me.
