I'm hoping these treats are good for the Doodles, because OH do they love 'em, and they never get tired of the salmon, unlike Plato's chicken, sweet potato, etc. As long as you keep the bag sealed they seem to stay pretty fresh, and are crumble-able over the dry dogfood we usually use. The Doodles then eat right through everything in the bowl, which isn't always the case otherwise.

The "strips" are really 1" x 2/3" hunks, and are not only friable but easily broken into halves or quarters, making them convenient as reward-treats also. And the price I got this set at - a steal!

Dogs go wild for these, and they are made in the U.S. with no soy/wheat or other nasty allergens. The only thing you might not like is that these are NOT strips, as in the jerky strips that others sell. These are compressed little briquettes that you can break apart for tiny training treats.

My dog likes them,but.........these treats really smell fishy. Unfortunately I bought 3 bags of these. I will of course use them up, but would not buy the salmon flavor again. I have also purchased the chicken and no problems with those. I love the fact that these are made in the USA. Good quality, just stinky.

My dogs absolutely love these treats. They are stinky, but you know that salmon is the predominant ingredient. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that I have small dogs and they do not cut up well. They are cookie-like and will crumble. Aside from this small nuisance ( with a steady hand and patience they will cut in half ok) these are the best treats I have ever given my dogs. After all the bad news regarding dog treats that are made in China, it's only USA treats from now on, and at this price they are very competitive.

These salmon strips, while smelling heavily of the fish which takes some getting used to, are a natural and healthful treat. My pup loves them and his eyes and coat stay bright and shiny. Surprisingly they do not affect his breath unlike some fish/fish oil products do.

My Rat Terrier is crazy for these salmon treats. He has arthritis and I use these treats (with the omega-3s) along with Metacam and Tramadol to keep him limber. He is very active and has a shiny coat and strong nails. Salmon is his favorite. I've given these treats to other dogs and they all love them. They have a strong smell (which the dogs love), but they don't stink if you keep them sealed in the bag.

I buy them for my 85 lb Yellow Lab she loves them over any other treat. They are also made in Alaska and probably won't harm her. Never trust China when you buy something for your family or pets!!!
