4.0 out of 5 stars Excelent Product for your money, October 9, 2007
I buy this audio-video player for my bro but i'm seriously thinking buying one for myself. OK it is not an I pod but the sound quality is excelent, good bass and the earphones are decent, the only flaw is the time that takes a movie to be compressed with the software, but who wants to watch an entirely movie in small secreen, im not for it. Good price if you are not rich or I POD-MAC -fanatic.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT mp3 player, June 13, 2007
This Philips mp3 player is excellent, I have had in my hands ipod nano, Sansa c260 and other cheap mp4 players and let me tell you this one rocks, better than all of these.

The sound quality is excellent, even with the earphones included on the package, the scren is awesome, 2.2 inches, really sharp and big.
It looks really nice, the black color and the big screen looks just great.

I really have no complains about this player, well jist one but not very important, it gets fingerprints all over the front due to the glossy front that makes it look great. Just take with you something to clean it and youre done.

Transferring music and pics is really easy with Windows Media Player 11, videos too, but its a little bit more comlicated, however it isn't too much.

I highly recomend you this mp3 player, excellent in everything I was looking for(big and sharp screen, excellent sound quality, nice look and with fm radio)

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice screen, but the sound sucks., September 24, 2008
By C. A Morrow "Kitsune Youkai" (Des Moines, WA United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I was looking for a new MP3 player to replace my Sony NWZ-A816 which got stolen at a Filter concert. I saw this selling for $99 at Fred Myer and decided to try it out (I made sure to keep my receipt of course, incase I didn't like it). It looked like a nice player, it had a huge screen and 8gigs of storage. When I got home I uploaded some music to it and tried it out. The sound was so drab and dull compared to the Sony I had. I fiddled with the Customizable EQ to see if that'd help, no go. I heard it had something called "FullSound" technology, but I could not locate this function in any of the menus. (I also couldn't find the Radio function either). Even my 80 dollar Senheizer headphones sounded like crap with this thing, I have taken it back and now I am waiting for my local Best Buy to get more of the NWZA-728PNKBB. A big screen means nothing to me if the sound is no good.

I bought this player for my wife and I'm sorry I did. Basically, it's just an average media player with synchronization issues. Read more
