    This par of kneepads are great. It will protect your knees very well. The only negative, it is that they come very, very tight. I have very slim legs (ok, chicken legs) and they are tight! A bit uncomfortable. I had to stretch them and keep them like that over night. After that, they were ready to rock & roll!
    BTW: I had other 2 pairs of volleyball kneepads and the Asics Competition 3.0g are the best... after the stretching ;)

    These knee pads feel slim and not too fast, but they work, do not leave any bruises on the knees or around the knees. However, my legs are very skinny and they feel kind of tight.

    The kneepads are decent, but they are not really made for a 5'11" 16 year old boy. There is not quite enough cushion and they don't cover enough of the knee. For a smaller person, they would be great.

    Daughter loves these so far. I read the reviews about them being tight and my daughters legs are not skinny. She's 5'3" and about 116 with a lot of muscle on her legs. She said they were tight but it didn't bother her and she said its all part of breaking them in. The Gel padding really seems to let her dive at will for those hard to get to pancakes and digs. Very nice pads.

    I purchased a couple of ASICS knee pads for my 11 year old daughter and these turned out to be her favorites. She has skinny legs and these fit her well. They are less bulky and more snug then the other pair we tried.

    My daughter is on her second pair of these in the current volleyball season, and out of all the different models out there, the fit, performance, and protection provided by these are far and away her favorite. We like the fact that these have the gel padding to give further protection to her knees and is comfortable. We will stick to this model as long as she continues playing volleyball and if you have a player in your family, you should consider getting her a pair of these knee pads.

    Decent kneepads but really tight. I wish they made these in different sizes. Also thought it would be a bit more breathable. But when I wear capris that cover my knees with these kneepads, I have a huge sweat spot after playing for an hour. Never happened with my old kneepads.
