This was recommended highly by a naturopath we work with, and the results have been quite apparent. Not only have my finger nails become stronger (not something I really was really looking for), but I'd had a problem with skin on my legs being easily peeled back when rubbing up against a branch or some other object. That's no longer a significant issue - it seems to have "thickened" my skin, or strengthened it, or whatever caused the change. Yes, this is an anecdotal story, but at least for me, there are changes (for the better) that I cannot otherwise explain.

The only reason it's not a 5-star rating is that the taste is, well, tolerable but nothing more. Thank goodness it's at least got some citrus flavor - I can't imagine what it used to be like! It's still worth the results, though.

I bought this product after discovering that one of the main ingredients in natural toothpaste's is often silica.

Though whiter teeth is probably a shameless reason to buy this product, I'm sure glad that it "forced" me to try it out.

This silica gel is the best out there (I did my research on that before hand too). And since silica is GOOD FOR YOU... it does no harm to keep it in the mouth for 20 to thirty minutes before bed (like I do), then swallow it when you're through.

Result (from a 2 month test):
Pros:
My teeth are whiter and my hair is healthier, has more shine, and is stronger. Good results, right!?
Cons:
After 20 minutes with silica in your mouth, the sensation is a little like holding salt in your mouth for too long (i.e. DRY). Also, this teeth whitening trick doesn't last very long...maybe a day or two.

I recommend this product!
