I ordered these for a 4" plate, and two 4 1/4" plates. They are advertised to fit 4" plates. They did not even come close to fitting any of the 3. My guess is they are actually for 5"-7".

The package says that it fits plates 4" to 7". We had a plate that was 4.5" and the hook openings hung at least 1/4" below the plate! This is more for a plate that is at least 5" to 7". We will keep this as I'm sure that we will be able to use it in the future, but unfortunately will be unable to use it for the plate we purchased it for.

The product represents it will work with plates 4" - 7" and in truth, it will only work with plates larger than 5". I will attempt to modify (by shortening the springs) but am disappointed the holder is not as represented. I'm sure Amazon felt the Chinese maker would properly indicate the product specifications but this specific item is mislabeled. As a jewelry maker, I have the tools to modify - but doubt most consumers would be so inclined to rebuild an original purchase.

These plate hangars read that they will fit 4inch plates. My plates are 4.25 and the hangars are too big. I had to rig them to get them to work. They were so inexpensive, it wasn't worth the cost of postage to return them.

This hanger DOES NOT work on 4 inch plates. I have two 4-1/2 inch plates and these hangers are too big. The description should read 5-7 inch plates.
