This may have been an issue of semantics but I thought I was ordering a bag with the 5 original fruit flavors (strawberry, orange, lemon, grape, and lime) as indicated in the website description. Skittles recently replaced the lime flavor with sour apple. I bought this bag because I am not a fan of the sour apple and I thought I was getting a bag that still contained the lime. If you are specifically looking for the lime flavor this is not the way to go. Still good candy, though!

I ordered these for a friend who hates the new green apple skittles. I was specifically looking for the ORIGINAL skittles and was overjoyed when I found this one which claimed to be the original ones.
That was not the case. The bag I recieved was one with green apple instead of lime. I'm really not happy about this. >:/

Skittles have recently introduced a "green apple" flavor into the mix - and it's TERRIBLE. I have been trying for months and I can't find a single vendor who sells skittles without the green apple flavor. I bought this bag from Amazon because (by the picture) it appeared that this bag did NOT contain those little green bombs. This is not the case -- the bag I received does indeed include green apple flavor. So if you are like me and are trying to find the the delicious original skittle mix, then this is not the bag for you.

So, I moved from Europe to the US, I settled in my apartment etc, and after a week or so I decided that I wanted some candy. I went to the supermarket and started looking for some M&M's. Then this weird *red* bag caught my eye and I thought, hah!, this country is funny, they put an 's' instead of an 'm' on their M&M's here, and the bag is all different too.

So I took one bag home to try it. I grabbed a handful of the presumed M&M's and ... what a surprise. This was obviously not what I had bargained for, and I considered ditching this wrong purchase, but instead I figured I'd give this weird stuff another chance at some other time.

Do you realize that my mortal soul could _still_ have been saved, at that point ??

It was only in the next few days that the addiction set in. I found myself longing for more of that flavor when the bag was through; I wouldn't have reckoned at first, that I would actually buy many more of these bags on purpose.

Now my willpower has been eternally challenged. My stomach will never be like before. My jaw is numb from the endless compulsive chewing. And I can just feel my teeth desintegrating right when I take another dose. Why do I forever ache for that soothing acidic taste ? They're so delicious they ought to be outlawed !

Hey if you like green apple, fine with me, it's not a holy war. It's false advertising, it's blatant fraud. The fact that it's also ineligible for refund makes it a real cheat. Clearly the vendor knows they're not showing the updated bag with "Now with Green-Apple!" clearly written in big letters on the bag.

I only bought these because they clearly show the "Original Flavors" in the image and naturally I didn't read further than the 4 star reviews.

Also hey if you're a fan of Skittles, so was I and I am disappoint...truly. I contacted them they said "Hey we'll tell marketing you don't like our new green-apple flavor. (Don't tell anyone but the secret ingredient is snot.) If you'd like your precious lime back you'll need to buy a bag of our new flavor. It's part of our new cross-marketing campaign to get people to try our lab accidents. Yours--Skittles."
