Having tried other digestive enzymes, I say with confidence, this is a great enzyme to take. I've suffered with IBS for years. Not any more! Plant based enzymes such as these are more effective. I take 5 with each meal. Every person is different. Some may only need one or two. It's best to try just a few and increase the amount of capsules until your symptoms have gone away. Many doctors say to take just 1 with each meal. That often isn't enough and people are left thinking the enzymes don't work or the brand of capsules is the issue.

Take it from me, this works. I've been to surgeons, gastro-docs, natural docs, you name it. Once I began taking this, I am symptom free.

I discovered Doctor's Best Digestive Enzymes while I was vacationing in Sonoma. Traveling upsets my stomach and I found myself in serious distress while sightseeing. I went into a health food store and bought Doctor's Best Digestive Enzymes. I hesitated because they were really expensive and I had never heard of them, but I was desperate and glad I bought them because within a half hour my stomach settled down. I've never had anything work as fast. I tried Life Extension rather than reordering the Doctor's Best Digestive Enzymes the last time I ordered digestive enzymes because Life Extension has good reviews and it cost less but I didn't find they work as well. Although it may be a matter of what works best with the individual system because I see that the Rainbow Light Advanced Enzyme System rate high but it didn't work for me at all. When I reorder I'll pay the extra money for the Dr's Best which I find work better than any other I've tried. Thankfully I found them at half the price on Amazon than I paid for the first bottle at that health food store in Sonoma. I think Dr's Best are worth the money but Life Extension and Rainbow Light Advanced rate higher so it may be a matter of finding the right one for your system. Good Luck!

I have this on monthly delivery via Subscribe and Save. I have Gastroparesis from Dysautonomia, and was tube fed through my small bowel for years.
Insurance cut my tube and formula coverage at the beginning of the year, so I have been making my own with organic produce, grassfed bone broth, and coconut oil in my Vitamix. These enzymes are crucial to help me break down the foods I intake. I take 3-6 capsules a day, but I have special medical needs. Others may need less.

I am 63 and have been dealing with IBS with stomach issues and constipation since I was a child. I live a very healthy lifestyle, no red meat and lots of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. I take 1000 mgs of magnesium a day and have tried many many other cures. From the first day that I started this supplement,my constipaton is a non-issue. I will always eat mindfully but the worry and discomfort of IBS is gone.

I have been taking this for a long time and will continue. Read the ingredients, and compare it to others You get more in one capsule than the others which require you to take two for the same amount of ingredients. You only need to take one, thats all I take.

This is my third order and I am pleased with this product. I have recommended it to many. If you have acid reflux, digestive issues - this is the product to take. I take this one because it is authentic. It is not laced with potatoe starch to stretch it. Since I have this food intolerance I even have to read supplement labels or call a company to be sure. The product was received in a timely fashion and I will order again and again.
