I might recommend this specialty paint to a jogger because it's Runny. On the other hand I wouldn't recommend this paint to somebody in the office football pool because it doesn't cover. If it even approximated the bright, neon orange color on the lid, I'd be satisfied. It doesn't. Instead I got a subdued fluorescent orange with plenty of the painted object showing through.

To give it every chance to shine, I used this Rust-oleum on wood, metal, cardboard, and a Mr. Potato Head. Results on all are unimpressive. I can only hope this review helps someone from making the same mistake I did.

I was hoping for a bright, shiny bubblegum pink to match the fluorescent pink duck tape you can get now. This is not that. It's kind of a bright deep salmon or coral colour -- which is not helped by the completely flat finish. I hated the colour so much I spent hours sanding it off my project.

I used this outdoors on metal and plastic in order to more easily see low posts and utility boxes when backing out my car. The areas were first primed/undercoated with KILZ oil-based spray primer.

After a few weeks, the Rust-Oleum began to noticeably fade. Now, two months later, the yellow is almost gone from the surfaces subjected to direct sunlight. The white KILZ undercoating shows no signs of fading, I would add.

This stuff (green) is very runny, very poor coverage. On a gray primer background it took 4 coats before the gray was covered. If you try to put it on any thicker, it runs. I use rattle cans of Rust-oleum and Krylon for a LOT of projects, and never had this type of failure.

Further, this paint has all the sticking power of Tempra paints. At the slightest flex, it cracks and peels off. It has no adherence to bare metal, wood, or primed (Rustoleum brand primer!) wood or metal. It isn't exactly flat when dry, but not a gloss either. And it doesn't get hard. Stays sorta soft, like liquid chalk.

In short, if you want to paint something like a temporary "for sale" sign, this is a mediocre product. It isn't glossy, it isn't that Flourescent, and it isn't any more highly visible compared to standard bright green.

I won't waste my money on this again. Next time, I'll just buy the standard enamel bright colors.

I used this to paint a model rocket, made of cardboard, balsa wood and the occasionally visible dried-wood-glue surface. The first thing that I noticed is that this paint creates a dried orange dust that gets over EVERYTHING. None of the other paints I used (including other Rust-Oleum products) created this dust. They sprayed the model and the surface of the cardboard box I was painting in. This paint however seemed to dry in mid-air and then float around as super fine dust; 6 feet in every direction.

The other thing I noticed is that it's extremely thin. If I hadn't put two coats of white primer on my model this paint would look so bad I'd buy something else and paint over it. The blue painter's tape I have on certain parts of the model come out brown, which means that you can see the blue tape underneath the orange paint. That should tell you how thin this is.

This might be fine for a throw-away FOR SALE sign like in the product photo, but it's been abysmal as a paint for crafts. I can't wait to be done with this paint. Hopefully a clear coat on the top of this matt paint can save the look of my rocket.

I'm painting a bike for my daughter. This paint will not do. It drys flat. I've got a can of clear to use but I think I need to give up on this paint. It seems like sign paint and for temporary use. Now I read these reviews and some have mentioned fading. Glad I tested this paint with the handle bars first. Deffinetly not glossy. I only wasted 4 bucks on this stuff. So I might use as a primer on the rest of the project.

This spray paint is extremely thin and runny and doesn't coat well at all. You can see the original finish through the paint even with 3+ coats. It doesn't stick well to finishes other than paper (tried on metal and leather too). It seems like the only thing it may be good for is making signs like on the picture of the can. For everything else it's completely useless. I would not recommend this to anyone and wish that I could return it for something else!

I purchased the paint for a project for my daughter.(interior of a computer case) It was a mid size case and I only finished half of the job. I ended going to Lowe's and getting another can. Which strangely some how I was able to finish the case and put another coat on it???????
