It serves the purpose if you want play money that looks real. It is the thickness of good stationary paper - about 3 times the thickness of Monopoly money.

I did not count exactly, but I would say there are 100 of the $1 bills, 60 of the $5 bills, 50 of the $10s, 50 of the $20s, 20 of the $50s, and 20 of the $100s.

I bought this for my 95 yr old Mom, who is in a nursing home in the dementia unit, since she is always saying she needs money on her. We had given her a real $10 bill, which she tore in half to make change! The other times real money, she lost it. Now we don't care if she gives it away! This was more realistic than the other play money....printed on both sides in the proper colors, and doesn't have PLAY MONEY in large letters all over it as the other brands did. It is a little smaller than real money, but she doesn't remember what it looks like any more. I gave some to my brother & sister so if she asks them for money, it's the same. Great product.

This money LOOKS real as far as the color and pictures on the bills, but is the size of Monopoly money, so it doesn't appear "real" at all. My son wanted it to do magic tricks with, and was very disappointed as the description seemed to be that it was "just like real money".

I couldn't believe how real looking the money was other than it was smaller than actual money. I made a Halloween costume out of it and I was "made of money" same as the man on the Geico commercial. I won the costume contest and $100 at work. People ranted and raved over the costume and kept asking where I got the money; thought I copied it myself. I told them Amazon. :)

Yes, the money is smaller than the real thing (its play money!). It looks and feels great (but doesn't feel like real money---it isn't). Also it says it is NOT legal tender (its play money!). Plenty of money here to start your own domestic economy...pay the kids for unloading the dishwasher, and let them pay for their dinner! :-)
