Awesome bike! The best bicycle I have ever owned. I did have an isue with the rear tube, it kept going flat. I patched it twice but it kept developing new holes in places where you normally dont get a flat.

Received the bike very quickly and in good condition. Easy assembly. Disliked the front wheel caliper brake so removed it. Everyone who sees this bike compliments it. Nobody has ever seen a bike like this especially one made by John Deere. It will be a classic and a collectors item. I could keep it in a box but it is too much fun to ride. It attracts attention. I thoroughly recommend this bike to anyone who appreciates "ooohs" and "aaahhhs."

This bike is really noticed. I get admiring comments all the time. I love it. To be perfectly honest though, it is a $300 paint job on a $100 bike. The front fender is a very snug fit on the wheel. It's tricky keeping it from rubbing the wheel. Like another reviewer I removed the front brake. It's not needed. The coaster brake works fine. The front wheel brake worked poorly and I didn't want it rubbing the yellow paint off the front wheel. As for paint, it's fairly fragile. Putting the bike upside down on the sidewalk to inspect the chain, I later discovered the black handle bar had a nasty scrape. Lucky a black marking pen helps a lot. I went to the Burning Man Festival (many bikes on the Nevada desert playa). I had the only John Deere bike there -- and received many favorable comments.
