I was extremely happy to receive such perfect knitting needles. I was furious to receive knitting needles from Joann Fabrics online. They looked as if King Kong bent them out of shape and they would not let me exchange them for another pair! So, after I received the needles from Amazon, I was in total bliss. Thank you, Amazon for sending my needles in perfect shape and to my house in 3 days. I will buy my hard to find knitting needles from you from now on.

After using a cadre of knitting needles over the years, I stumbled upon these Susan Bates Quicksilver needles. Needless to say, these are the only ones I will use now. I have them in every size and length and duplicate sets of the ones I use the most. If you spend countless hours knitting, only use the best.

These needles have a subtle flexibility that make knitting fast and fun. They are slick without being slippery so that your yarn slides easily but does not slip off. Have used metal and wood but they do not compare to the ease and "feel" of knitting with these.

I'm hardly an expert knitter but I really like these. They are just a little less slick and more manageable than the ubiquitous shiny aluminum Boye needles (and don't make such a grating metal-on-metal scraping noise), but are less "grippy" than bamboo or nylon needles, which snag too much on fuzzy yarn. I assume knitting needles are at least in part a matter of taste but I think these are a happy medium and find them very pleasant to work with. And they're inexpensive!

What can I say? They're really smooth stitches slide easily a cross them, the points are narrow allowing you to pick up
dropped stitches without having to pick up another tool as well as perform easily other dexterous maneuvers.
