jars are smaller than pictured....I bought these years ago for my husband...they were much better...not many sausages, and smaller...and the cost of shipping..wow..forgetaboutit...ham hocs tasted too piggy, need to flavor up a little....

Absolutely amazing. Sure, to some people it may be weird or gross, but my mother did say I should always try new things. The shipping is expensive, but what are you going to do. It came shipped in cardboard box, completely lined with styrofoam with dividers in between each jar. It also came within a few days. You really can't complain about something like that. I'm sure they could do it cheaper, but then you run the risk of having broken jars and ruined product. I've had it happen to me before with other products like this. I will be buying from them again. After all, things are just better from Wisconsin.

The pork hocks were a nice cut of meat and had a firm texture, nothing like the garbage that you get from most local grocery stores in California. The Polish Sausage was spicy but not hot and had good flavor. The sizes of the jars in this sample pack are of the same average size as what is sold locally at my location. I will definitely be buying the larger jars of the same items though.
