    I wear a women's 7 and ordered these for myself in the Big Kid 5 since these are $40 cheaper than the women's version. These are the same shoes as the women's Bluefish. Size is true. They're very comfortable. Cotton laces would be nice, but the rawhide looks good. They just shed everywhere. I'll be buying my toddler daughter a matching pair when it's closer to the proper season, at that point I'll edit my review for the toddler sizes.

    Update: I had my daughter's feet measured at a Stride Rite. She measured out just over 8, so I purchased these for her in the 8.5 so she's have some room. I had her wear them twice with socks then let her jump in puddles in them and allowed them to dry on her feet. They're a perfect fit are soft and give her no problems.

    In the past, I always giggled at people that wore these shoes with every outfit. I told myself I'd never own a pair, or, it's just a trend that will pass.. Well, my in-laws recently purchased a new lake house and when I found these on Amazon for $27, I honestly bought them as a joke since my husband hates them! So, when they arrived and I put them on I was flabbergasted at how freaking comfortable they were?! Holy crap. And for reference, I'm a nurse and I like to think I've had my fair share of comfortable shoes but seriously, if wear these to work if I could!
    I will give you some size info to take with you though. I usually wear a women's 6.5-7, and originally ordered these in a big kid 5.5w. They were HUGE. I took a shot in the dark and reordered them in a 4.5w and they fit great! Even roomy enough to wear socks. Other reviewers stated they wore 6.5-7 women's and ordered a big kid 5m, and they were tight, so that's why I went with the w(wide) instead. Usually, kids shoes are more narrow than adult shoes since kids feet haven't spread out over time, and I didn't want to have tight fitting shoes. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and am now looking for a matching pair for my daughter!

    Additional info: I wear a 7 in Nike, 7.5 in Adidas, 5.5m big kids in Brooks, 7 in Uggs, 7 in Saucony and a 36 in Dansko!

    Cute shoes I bought a similar pair of Sperrys for myself so that my daughter and I could match. I bought them thinking they would be comfortable. I was so wrong. My feet hurt as if i were wearing heels and my 2 year old said while walking in the zoo "shoes hurt"

    My son really likes those shoes. Most of the time he is really a tennis shoes boy. He was very excited to get them. At first he complained some about his heel hurting in those but as soon as I mentioned I was going to send them back all was good. As of now he wears them to church and other functions as well as school on occasion.

    Ordered the big kid size 4.5 for my daughter who normally wears an adult size 6-6.5. These fit her perfectly and the price was definitely better than the adults. She's had them for about a month now and wears them almost daily--other than some scuffs and normal wear-and-tear for a 13yr old, they are holding together really well!

    I'm disappointed. I received the shoes today and although I'm excited about the quick delivery, this shoe is not what I expected. The picture looks like it's a Navy combination which is what I selected but the shoes are actually a combination of browns. Unfortunately, when I went back to check my order, the picture that looks like Navy is named 'Chocolate'. However when I looked up other shoes with the name chocolate for this brand, they do look different than the picture I originally based my order on so just beware and look closely at the color names (not the pictures when you are ordering).

    This is the third pair of bluefish shoes I've bought for my son in various sizes. I've always been happy with the product, but the effort to sign in and give the five stars is due in part to Amazon's amazing customer service. After about half a dozen wears, the cord that goes along the outside of the shoe broke for no apparent reason. Since he usually only wears them on Sundays, this put us at about a month past the end of our return window. However, within hours of emailing Amazon to see if we could get a replacement, they had overnighted another pair. We order a lot from Amazon, and their customer service is one of many reasons.
