Product Description

The Wishing World is about the desire to find E.T. and the physical restrictions which may make this impossible. The piece covers the history of the quest to find extra terrestrial intelligence and the very latest programs ongoing to seek out alien life. There are many reasons why the human race must continue to explore the Solar System and how we may meet E.T. sooner than we think. For over 30 years I have studied many UFO reports and the science of the search for alien life and this essay contains many viewpoints.

About the Author

Francis Robert Foy was born in London, England in 1953. His father played the piano and the first song Francis learned by himself on the piano was 'God Save The Queen', when he was about 7 years old. When he left school Francis attended a technical college to study building construction, as his father was in the real estate business. When he found that he missed school English lessons, Francis began studying poetry and then writing it. During his teenage years Francis hitchhiked all over Europe many times and has made visits to New York and Boston. During his first stay in the Big Apple in the 1980's he walked all round Manhattan island in 90 degrees of summer heat taking in the beautiful skyscrapers of that great city. At age 18 he tried to write two novels and although he wrote some 60,000 words on one project, he realized he needed to be older in order to draw from life experiences in order to write successfully. It was then that Francis turned to music so that he could write songs using his words. As an occupation he worked with his father in the family property business until the year 2000. Along side that Francis played in several bands and recorded many songs, eventually becoming a solo artist. He now has his own small record label and has released a variety of music albums professionally, which are commercially available on Amazon along with many other stores such as eMusic and iTunes. His music has been played on various radio stations worldwide and Francis is a writer and publisher member of ASCAP. As an author Francis has had poetry published in various anthologies, has short stories on the internet and in 2006 had his first book published, humaNatural: short stories from tomorrow. The style is reality based predictive fiction with themes on human nature, science, evolution and God. Stories in the book connect to some of the albums by the author. With a lot of activity on the world wide web, Francis runs several websites connected with the music industry and has networked his music and writing in many places on the internet. 'NETIZENS REIGN' is the first offering by Francis for the Amazon Shorts Program, and there will be more to come in the future. In 1955 when he was 18 moths old, Francis had his picture taken with Bob Hope, while the star was in London promoting the film “The Seven Little Foys”. The photo was used in national newspapers at the time, and a clipping of one can be found in the Author Biography of the book “humaNatural: short stories from tomorrow”'.
